Nightmare Fuel

Post by Garneta »

I thought it was time for a 'Creepy' thread. There are a lot of things that I could link on here, but I choose these to start:

You are my Sunshine

There's a Gumby episode called 'Of Clay and Creatures' that would be perfect...but I can't FIND it anywhere! It's seriously the creepiest thing I can think of.

The WHOLE movie 'Raggedy Ann and Andy; A Musical Adventure.' These are a couple scenes that I found from it: The Greedyand The Camel.

Gravel Rock Ad Um...what? Creepiest campaign ad I'VE ever seen!

Pink Elephants Always good in the creepy awesome section.

Heffalumps and Woozles usually has the same effect.

And finally, not a REAL thing, but wow...just wow. This freaked me out a LOT the first time I saw it. Satan Pooh.

Hmm....Maybe it's 'Of Clay and Critters' *Looks it up* Yeah, it is...but I still can't find the video anywhere. I'll describe it then, I guess:

There are no words in this one, it's just accompanied by trippy music. Gumby, Pokey, and Nopey are walking through the desert and come across a large red box. They start beating on it, and a little blue guy in a powdered wig comes out, and also an eye on a stalk emerges. They get pulled/pushed into the box by the eye/blue guy. Then the blue guy taps on the box, and the three of them get turned into umbrellas and fly away.

They land and turn back into themselves. A guy in a labcoat comes up to them, along with a giant blue thumb. The guy gets out a canvas and paints them, then he and the thumb run away. Gumby and company start walking again.

They're in the woods now, and come across a large red unbloomed flower next to a pan of water and a ladel. Gumby takes the ladel and pours water over the flower. It opens up, and its seeds start popping out all over the floor. They turn into worms, which all slink across the ground and flatten themselves together to make a path. There's one worm left though, a green one. It motions for them to follow it, so they do.

The worm leads them back out into the desert, and into a big steel barrel. The barrel starts spinning around very fast, occasionally changing size while doing so, or splitting into two barrels then going back into one. When it stops, the result is that Gumby and Pokey have been transformed into midgets with big heads, and Nopey into a hot dog on wheels.

And that's it. Combine all that happening with the colors, lighting, and music...and man, it's trippy.

Clowny Clown Clown

I can't believe I never thought of putting this up here. It's the only one of his songs that I know of that has a video. But trust me, it's not the weirdest song on his CD. There's one called 'Rat Catching' that's just...well damn, man. Crazy shit. On the CD cover is a riddle. And it has his HOME PHONE NUMBER on it in case anyone figures it out.

Crispin Glover...heh.

this is either creepy, disturbing, or just plain annoying.

well, it's pretty until the dude with the oversized bass saxophone decides to make it scream like a siren. then it gets creepy/disturbing/annoying.
