Why are YOU eccentric?

Yes, that's true!
There are lots of people from foreign countries that post on English-speaking messageboards, though.
Even though most of them don't speak English as well as I do, if I may say that about myself.
Any other reasons?

I saved all my Tori Amos tour shirts and kept them on a hanger for a long, long time. but now I'm actually wearing them.

dunno if that's eccentric, but my mom's gonna sew 'em together and make me a quilt when they wear out! *dance!* is THAT eccentric?

Yeah, for awhile there when I was in high school. I'm five foot eightish, and got down to 105 pounds for a bit...that's pretty thin.

well, I don't like to deviate from the thread topic, AND I figured Kat covered it, which is why I didn't say anything.

but yeah, it's what Kat said. the fact that you're bilingual AND you're like... practically perfect with your English (in fact, I didn't know you were German until you told us) tells me that not only are you smart, but you're disciplined.


another reason why I'm eccentric: a LOT of times, I like to listen to the PBS Soundstage performance of Black Dove by Tori Amos with the left speaker pressed against my ear, with the volume turned way down so it doesn't hurt my ear. a lot of times, I like to put my ear on the sub-woofer part because I absolutely ADORE the way the bass sounds in the song.

I like making up weird pet names for my friends such as "garlic wafer" and "skittledipper". I'm "skittledipper" actually.

And there I was thinking you just didn't tell me when I did something wrong.
I can even speak English with only a little accent. At least I think so.

That's okay...it didn't even go on for that long...luckily I figured out what was happening before it was too late!

And don't worry about the thread derailment too much...I do it sometimes too (like right now). Eventually the thread always DOES get back on track. The only time it really bothers me is if it's in the games threads.

yeah, it doesn't bother me much, I just like to try to keep it from deviating COMPLETELY.

another eccentricity of mine: remember how I eat things in pairs? well, if I somehow end up with an odd number, I make do by biting whatever it is in half, counting the bitten half as "one" and the other half as "two" and that makes it okay again.

When I play the scratchers lotto tickets, I always have to scratch them a certain way...and lately I've had to always use the same quarter to do it with, too.

I'm really anal retentive about my t-shirts. They have to be organized by genre.

I eat candy canes by snapping the bent part in half, eating the shorter end first and then eating the rest.

Yeah...usually I only do that when I've been drinking, though...but even still, it usually looks pretty cool. I do a kinda collage of different pictures on there.

The way I eat kiwi/carrots. With kiwi, I slice it in half, then eat out the fruit with a spoon. With carrots, I eat the outer part first, then eat the core.
