Organized chaos?

Jumbo shrimp?

Squishy washboard?

a word of advice regarding oxymorons: to military folk and their spouses and children, "military intelligence" is freaking OLLLLLLLLLD.

/army brat!

A reason I'm eccentric...When I read the above quote, I said it in my head in a Homestar Runner accent/voice. "That sounds ree-zon-uh-bull!" XD

(Well, he DOES say that line in one of the episodes!)

I'm eccentric because I like this flash movie (click "pop-up" underneath "play this movie!" for better viewing results) and find myself quoting Bambee all the time. "bird!" XD

I ordered character shoes a size too big. My feet are pretty big in the first place, so the shoes are enormous. I did, thankfully, get some shoe inserts so they fit now.

I have the ability to pull together a decent paper in the span of a few days, regardless of the fact that I'd been given all semester to do it.

I dunno if that's eccentric, resourceful, or just plain stupid, but whatever works.

Perhaps it's a bit of each.

I seem to enjoy tap-dancing to Sweeney Todd music.

I find myself imitating the actions of people in videos to music that I listen to regularly. whether they're dancing, playing an instrument, or whatever. though if they're at a piano or something, said movement is pretty limited, as I don't imitate the playing-the-piano bits. XD

hmm... let's see. I'm running out of eccentricities.

so, um... does anyone else think the following quote is eccentric? I do, but I like it.

this is like making love under a microscope. I've done that--I've actually done that before.

Yes, that is eccentric and quite funny.

When I post on forums, I can't leave with a number with a "4" or a "9" at the end. For example, if I had a count of 239 posts, I'd have to post one more. I don't like the look of numbers like that. I do hope that I explained that properly.

well, while I'm not the same way with numbers, it makes perfect sense to me, because I tend to really favor even numbers over odd ones. but like... $12.55 doesn't bother me because it's an "even" amount of money. at least you're not given a bunch of pennies when you could have a nickel or dime or quarter.

Yeah, I used to have the strangest behaviors that all had to do with my feelings towards certain numbers. I don't like ending with numbers ending with "4" or "9" because they look as if they're tipping over an edge.

when I sing along with my favorite singers, I imitate them right down to how they pronounce their words...

...which leaves me singing "but I have to get to teexees, said I have to get to teexees" with Tori Amos during Black Dove. :shifty:

I do the same thing, Cyndi. My sister gets driven crazy whenever I insist that she's pronouncing the words to a song incorrectly.

well, my inclination to sing exactly like whoever I'm singing with has led to some rather entertaining moments--like when I'm singing along with Tori Amos (again XD) to, say, the Welcome to Sunny Florida performance of Concertina.

see, instead of "clouds descending", she sings, there, "cleeeoooods descending". XD!
