Alright, I just want to say that I respect women.
Not all women, but I don’t let gender influence me how I hand out respect.

And now bring me a beer.

That's actually quite nice to hear...I think too many guys still view us as being inferior. And yeah; although genders should be equal, it should be the PERSON who warrants the respect, and not just their gender.

Thank you.

Really? That’s too bad! Women should be seen as cool as they are!

Garneta wrote:And yeah; although genders should be equal, it should be the PERSON who warrants the respect, and not just their gender.

Exactly! Treating someone equally does not mean to humour them!

I’m glad you have a sense for humor and aren’t beating me silly now!

Come to think of it, I don’t drink alcohol!
Bring me some cocoa instead, for I am a macho!

Yeah, I totally see macho guys drinking cocoa all the time...

Ever try butterscotch flavour hot chocolate? That's pretty good stuff.

Yeah, I know, that’s the joke!

But thank you again for taking it with humor!

No, actually, I didn’t. Maybe I will.

I think it was Land 'O Lakes that I tried. Tasty!

Actually, that got me thinking "How often HAVE I seen people drinking it?" And the answer is, "Not often." Jean (ex-coworker) used to drink it at the theatre, and Bart mentioned getting some when we went to SDC last time (but he never did) but that's it.

I’m sorry, but I find you description kinda funny! :D
Garneta wrote:"Yeah, I'm a big macho MAN; I'm SUPERIOR to YOU, ya dumb woman. Now go get in your place and bring me a beer!"

But do you know what I don’t understand?
The phrase "pregnant and barefoot!"
What does being barefoot have to do with being an oppressed woman and since when is it something bad?

From what I understand, 'barefoot' is just symbolism for hard times. Taken from being poor; and having to go without shoes. Basically, it just means that it's a damn tough situation that the woman's in.

Or maybe it’s supposed to mean that women don’t need shoes, because they shouldn’t leave the house.

That's why! "Get me a beer! And don't leave the house, woman!" XD

I know...and I wasn't being serious with the 'Ack, no!' post either!

Good, ’cause I would never talk like this to a woman (or a man).
Especially not a fine specimen as yourself!

Fine specimen, eh? I like that! :D

Edit: Hey, why don't you just get on chat, since we're pretty much just having a conversation on HERE anyway...
