I learned that cucumbers are freaking awesome in salads with creamy italian dressing. Actually, I already knew this...but I'd forgotten HOW good they were!

I also learned that they sell a fourth of a cake (with buttercream icing, the good stuff) at the grocery store for a dollar! It's either the same size or a little bigger than the 'personal cakes' that they have for three dollars!

I learned that I shouldn't let myself near the Christmas cookies. They're soooooooo gooooooooood. *sneaks away from computer to get yet another Russian teacake.

I learned that I've been pronouncing "dulcet" wrong for years. I can spell quite well but when you read a lot, you don't hear words very often. The way I used to pronounce it sounds way better, in my opinion.
