Recent Comics

A place for people to discuss and constructively criticize my comics. Of course there’ll also be a place for off topic chit-chat, and a place for other webcomic artist to talk about what’s going on with their own stuff.

I like the fact that computers operate on 1's and 0's at their core... little on's and off's it makes it suprising that you get out of a computer considering what is actually going through it. of course... I wouldn't be trying not to laugh... i would be looking for Tech Support. My 20lb sledge.

I got the idea for this one from a real experience. Not the way it played out in the comic mind you, but I did hear someone say "Why do they only use 1s and 0s? Why don’t they use numbers, and letters, and words, and stuff?"

I know it's not a laugh-out-loud type joke, but still too funny for me to pass up. :D
Come see my webcomic!!

Oh dear, I think I may have been going to a tech collage for far too long.

As they say there are only 10 types of people in the world...
Those who understand binary and those who don't.

[explanation]
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... base ten (dec), normal counting (I hope)
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20... base eight (oct)
0, 1, 10, 11, 100, 101... binary (1-5)

[/explanation]

And another programmer joke:

Why do programmers celebrate Halloween at Christmas?
Because oct 31 equals dec 25.
"I just put 1.795372 and 2.204628 together." "And what does that mean?"
"Four!" My DeviantArt Gallery

Every morning, before classes we listen to the national anthem. It really drives me crazy when a singer improvises to the Star Spangled Banner thinking that they can improve the song by adding 37 additional notes and messing up the timing. (If they really want to eat up ten minutes of time, why not sing the normal tempo, and just go to the next three verses?)

There's a trivia question: How many folks here knew there is more than one verse to The Star Spangled Banner?

Ah but the picture really looks cool! =^^=

Egad, but you made it huge!

Did you start from a smaller concept, then work it into something larger, or just jump straight onto the ginormous canvas?

I think from the video that he started large canvass... I have a friend that works in artistic character design and he finds it nearly impossible to work small scale.

Moving out!

Postby Tbolt on Tue Jun 03, 2008 2:01 am

Ah, so you're moving out for the summer to do caricatures?

Will they be supplying room and board? (I hope?)

Good luck, safe journey, and Godspeed!

The only thing worse than some celebrity fashions is that they trickle down into the local stores, including Kids R Us, so that we can dress toddlers in the same slinky worthless clothing! >x.x<

(since when is is important for a six year old to wear tight pants and expose her tummy?

I think I reached my limit of "fashion" when I happened to wander through the little girl's section and found a display for thongs and g-strings.
