Recent Comics

A place for people to discuss and constructively criticize my comics. Of course there’ll also be a place for off topic chit-chat, and a place for other webcomic artist to talk about what’s going on with their own stuff.

In relation to today's comic... *sigh* It's so true. What I wouldn't give!

Ok, the model for the deer crossing sign is a celebrity, I give it points for inspiration! =^^=

Okay... One... Thanks. I love what you did but i have to say you have it wrong... I am -not- aqua coon. I will -NEVER- take credit for his work. He is just the only one that drew me properly... (i can not do it myself) And... My name is -NOT- Rodger. even though you -will- find me singing "beautiful day in the neighborhood" I am only Rogar. </rant>

I will have to say that is one of the most natural poses for me almost -Ever- its cute and i love it (even if you explained it wrong)

edit: and Deviant art is not fur affinity. one is for people, one is for "animals" though on some days i have trouble deciding which is which.

Many apologies. I got it fixed as soon as I red your post. Not having internet in the lodge is starting to mess with my work. I’ll try to be more careful when making these tribute drawings from now on. Sorry again Rogar, I hope you keep reading, and commenting.

Somehow that reminds me of myself in elementary school.

Hmmm, "Nut Up" coffee, that might be the reason they named it that way, to see if they could push for the juvenile responses it might get. The least common denominator is so much fun isn't it? :P

Reminds me of the ad campaign for Buck cigarettes. Invariably they had billboards that proclaimed "Buck the System!" Well, one guess as to what the B was turned into...

Hee, hee, the high price of oil! =^^=

That is why I switched to synthetic in my car, now I only have to change it annually (instead of every three months) The stuff is more expensive, but it is holding up impressively, and the best of all it is made right here in America! :D

If only I could say the same thing about the gasolene... =>.<=

I started carring my lunch to work to save a few bucks, about $25 / week. Crap, all that goes into the gas tank now!

Specter here , standing by...

Still reading and enjoying your humor, and browsing the forums whenever I check the comic (I only login to post).
I'm just the type of person to not say anything unless it directly contributes to the conversation.

Keep it up, just make sure that the comics purpose is ultimately for your enjoyment and expression.Image

Sound advice. I may be looking to my stats for validation a little too much. Sometimes I forget I started this whole thing for fun, practice, and to keep motivated.

Still I have so much fun doing it that I keep holding onto the hope that one day I can make it my fulltime job.

When I take a step back, and look at it, I can see that what I’ve done so far is quite an accomplishment. I’m getting close to 2 years, and well over 200 comics in the archive. Truthfully that’s nothing to be ashamed of. :D

Ah, new shading techniques, good luck!

Scanning / photocopying was a bigger pain than I ever thought it would be when I got beyond lineart. The tablet allows for a lot better translation of color (or grey =^^; ) into the computer, but printing the halftones still doesn't go perfectly.

Another issue I always had was when converting my file from Corel to jpg it would corrupt my palette too...

We need a cerebral implant that puts the picture we see in our mind's eye up on the screen! =^^=

Ugh, I hate when people have pets as, like, some sort of decoration or accessory. It's a dog, damn it, not a handbag on a leash.

Agreed. Mine are more like members of the family.... they're inside dogs and sleep at the foot of the bed.

Heh, I never had AC growing up, but I did spend many an hour being the living lighting device for dad working on the cars! =^^;

I never played with the AC unit at the one house I lived in with it, but, much like Tbolt said, I've done a lot of flashlight holding. "Stand there, shine the light there. Good."
