The stereotypes seem to fit the bill, but in all honesty the closest I've ever gotten to a hooters is the one next to the China Buffet. They share the same parking lot, and when I go to the buffet half the time it looks like I'm coming out of Hooters!
My Other Comics

Hmmm, Hooters caricatures....

Re: My Other Comics
The caricatures are about right... except for the country bumpkin. I have yet to see someone like that in Hooters. You might want to substitute an egotistical frat boy for the bumpkin. Oh, and one other thing, it's waitress, not waiter.
And just so ya'll know, Hooters' hot wings aren't that great.

Re: My Other Comics
what?
. . . Wait . . . WHAT! . . .
Thank goodness I wasn't drinking anything, otherwise I'd need a new keyboard.
Thanks a million for that welcome. And I see you took a look through my gallery.
I wouldn't hardly consider myself a specialist, just an enthusiast, if that even.

In that case you would have to give me the world's fastest crash course in dancing.Indigo4789 wrote:You don't have to have a name among the geeks. It's basically a bunch of chicks bidding on geeky guys and all the proceeds go to charity. Who knows, I may put out a bid on you.![]()
The only catch is that at the dance that night, you're supposed to dance with whomever bought you.
For as of right now I have couple danced a total of zero times. I was homeschooled through high school. I like to think I came out smarter (at least I did according to my test scores) but I didn't go to any sock-hops, proms, or keggers. (that too was probably for the better)

It was nothing. I had fun steeling your designs, and doodling with them.Specter-8472 wrote:what?. . . Wait . . . WHAT! . . .

By the way, those are some cool (surprised face) emoticon images you used there.

Re: My Other Comics
I think you were probably lucky you didn't have to worry about proms. They tend to be way over-rated (and overpriced) and in ten years, no one cares who was there. Insofar as the dancing, that could be fun... I've lost count of how many guys I've taught how to dance, so you wouldn't be the first one.

Even though I was public schooled, I still can count all the times I've danced on only one hand (and still have a few digits to spare).Sharkfin wrote:For as of right now I have couple danced a total of zero times. Thankfully I went to a very small school, and thus the prom wasn't a whole big fiasco. More like a normal dance with cardboard columns and green streamers.
(unfortunately this made the theme look more like Frankenstein's swamp, then enchanted garden)As for the smilies, they were made by Myn_M (gallary and img-code link) and are based around various sci-fi shows. I use them since they're such usually higher quality then the generic forum smilies.

I'll be at AC'08 as well. Look for me in the Lawrence Room from 3p-5p on Sat. Sharky and I are in charge of the Family Friendly Activities. (Check the AC'08 schedule of events)Tbolt wrote:Anthro-con will be coming up again this year in Pittsburgh at the end of June, if a friend of mine from out of state comes in , I'll be there! =^^=

I will not be at AC'08... I want to be though
Re: My Other Comics
Ah rats, just talked with my friend from out of state, his wife can't get the weekend off (you'd think that 6 weeks notice would be enough time, and you'd think they would have the common courtesy to give her an earlier answer. But it looks like I won't be there =-.-=
