Pac-Man's a DJ!

Hey hey! Guess what? I was playing Ridge Racer V tonight and I was messing around with the options menus and opened up the 'music player' option. Now, I've told you this before, but the announcer in
RRV is a radio DJ, and in the music player mode it's set up like he's DJing between songs. But when you first start it up, the DJ says something like:"You have tuned in to 76.5 FM. This is 76.5 FM's music player, your essential sound. With me is my main man Pac."And then you hear a couple of sampled 'wakka wakka' sounds from the Pac-Man game.Then the DJ tells you which song is playing, after that Pac-Man does some more wakka wakka and ghost eating sounds. Then the music starts.Between songs the DJ and Pac-Man have different little conversations. Pac-Man just has sound effects, though, so it's a one way conversation usually. The one I remember most was:"Hey, no Pac! That's MY strawberry!"
"Wakka wakka wakka! Byuowoop!"
"Zip it!"I didn't know about this before, so it surprised me. I thought it was pretty cool, so I thought I'd tell you all about it.There ARE other little Pac-Man cameos in RRV. When you pass a lap marker (checkpoint), it shows your current lap time in the bottom left corner. If you are in 2nd place or below, a blue ghost will trail across the bottom, with Pac-Man following behind. If you are in first place when going through a checkpoint, it'll show Pac-Man eating a row of dots, with the four ghosts following behind.I haven't unlocked Pac-Man racing yet. That's after 1500 miles (I think). In the Japan version it's 3000 kilometers. I have a little over 500 miles. I've designed my team cars to be puke green with a neon blue racing stripe. I am number 20 in overall ranking (they even put it on your car). And today I unlocked a secret car, a new model VW bug lookalike. You get it in duel mode. Almost every RR game has a car like this. It's the one that can go super fast and corner ridiculously good. So good you usually bump into walls when turning. But it's a VW bug, so it's cool. Yamcha will be excited I bet.Well, I'll post more RRV stuff when I feel I have something really important to say about it. Like Pac-Man Racing!--Klonoa

Here's another snippet from conversations between the RRV DJ and Pac-Man in the music player.DJ: "Hey Pac-Man, feeling fruity?"
Pac-Man: "Wakka wakka wakka. Bwoop!"
(Translation: No way, I'm straight, man! I've got a wife and two kids!)
DJ: "Oh I see how it is!"
Pac-Man: "Bwoop! Babababa! Wakka wakka!"
(Translation: F*ck, you don't even understand a thing I'm saying, do you?)
DJ: "Sit down and shut up!"
Pac-Man: "Bewewewew woop woop!"That's actually a true conversation! Well, I made up the translations parts. Makes you wonder if the RRV DJ is gay. What made me mad is when he told Pac-Man to 'sit down and shut up.' No one talks to the Pac like that!In other RRV news, I've got around 750 miles logged in (1500 for Pac-Man racing!) and I just unlocked a new car. It's a pink 57 Chevy wannabe, with the highest speed but no traction whatsoever. I'm currently car number 11, which I think is pretty good considering they start you out at 99. Well, hopefully I'll have Pac-Man Racing unlocked in a few days. Later!--Klonoa
