Starting off, I'd like to say that AT&T @Home cable modem service is the most unreliable piece of sh*t this side of the Mason-Dixon line-and on the other side, too. Wondering where I've been the last couple of days? Cable modem sans in working order, that's where! We're changing to DSL as soon as it's available, man! It's not like I'm addicted to the Internet or anything, but since my visual impairment keeps me from driving, I kinda depend on the Internet for job searches-as well as my contact with the outside world (at least during the week ^_^).
But luckily, I had something to keep me occupied for the last couple of days

Hey, simple mindless games are fun, being a fighting game fan you should be aware of that, Yagami
------------------

I've never liked complex games. Anything more complex than say, Mega Man, and I get all confused. Go here: www.papermario.com. It may be the last great 2-D Mario game ever.
--Klonoa

i would hardly call fighting games simple and mindless, well, unless you enjoy button mashing and getting your butt kicked all the time.
-Ya"fighting stratgy"gami

My point is it doesn't matter if a game is strategic or not as long as you have fun, and you should play what you like to play. For example I love FFTactics and Wild Arms which are pretty strategic games, but I hate Ogre Battle cause it's just damn boring. Anyways my point is everyone should play what they want to play, and that's it. Besides Bubble Bobble is mindless and that game rules! Dammit, I'm starting to ramble. Oh, fuck it. I'm gonna' go play Magical Drop!
------------------

I personally usualy perfer strategy games and semi complex designs but I would agree games like the mario series and magical drop all have their places too. Probably a lack of good RPG's would do for both tony and my desire for complex games.. Not that tony doesn't have a group waiting patiently for him to run a game.. On a different note old school action games though rarely all that complex are some of the coolest games ever. Contra and Castlevania being two perfect examples. blah.. very tired...

True most games today have no character [ ie no life but it's got purty colors ]. Still, atleast I can play type as fast as you can on my new Dreamcast. hehehe;p

hmmm, a tough choice...in corner a. we have a set, simple RPG which is a rehash update of Mario RGP. altho Mario RGP was fun, it was fun the first time around. while in corner b. we have the first "ONLINE" RPG on a consel, with a revolutionary fighting and game play system along with updates and new maps on the way.
-Ya"making RPG history"gami
