Well, I own a Dreamcast and know various freinds with one, but I don't know anyone with a PS2..... however that may change and I may not only know someone with one, but live with someone who owns one..... maybe.
------------------

Stu not me.. I let robbie and stu get all the gaming stuff and just mooch I hate to say it but I'm already having my doubts as to how long bemusement with PSO will last. I mean I'm still having fun but already I don't want to go back to the first of the four sections.. the second is getting tedious.. the mag is almost iritating trying to keep it pumped and almost never being able to use it. lots of things. The server is beautiful the mulitplayer is awesome and the concepts are great. take what they have going improve story line for offline mode at least and maybe do a sequal with expansion cds or just a more expansive world to begin with and then you might have something I could see lasting for years. Course despite nitpicking for a first of its kind the game is indeed pretty awesome. ohh.. and damn the tekers.. damn them to hell

I don't care. I want a PS2 anyway. Besides, since I review games, I'd be able to pay it off eventually.
--Klonoa

*sniff* My MAG looks like a lil' flying black turd. I gotta get him to chug some Boost, Metrex, Plutonium, Pokemon and other vitamins.
------------------

Hey My rate might be 0 actually its in the 30s now, but it still gives me the bonus to the stats. And it looks like a clam right now. Well at least I didn't sell mine, like somebody I know.

I think you are looking at the mag the wrong way. Sure the photon blasts can be cool, but the real power of a mag is in it's attribute boosting. My force (Fragged, Lvl22) would probably be about half as effective if you took away his mag (though I've neglected it alot, and it's still only in the 90s for level.)
It isn't like you have to feed your mag constantly, just have to be wary that every time you go in/out of a game your mag's synch attribute will drop slightly (thus it takes constant effort to keep a 120 synch)

James,
actually MAGs are super helpful, my MAG is maxed in IQ (200)and SYNK rate (120) and it does stuff to help me all the time, such as healing me before i am about to die, boosting my attack and defense right before i fight a boss, blocking hits for me, not to mention that it boosts my over all atributes just to name a few. and yes, more updates are on the way (new areas, more quests, and as you might have seen already...holiday updates)
Cary,
i had a PS2, infact i got one right when it came out in Japan. that was the biggest mistake i have ever made. glad i was able to sell it off right away. PS2 is so not worth it for the amount of money it costs.
-Ya"too much money for too little"gami
