Well, OK, I don't like ALL stop motion animation. I found 'Land of the Lost' rather annoying as a kid. Of course, I also don't like everything Aardman does either (never really got 'Rex the Runt'). And in all honesty, Bob the Builder really isn't much better than Thomas the Tank Engine (Ick!). But the Bob the Builder theme song is kinda catchy. And I find it amusing that all the construction vehicles can talk. And there's this scarecrow who gets into trouble all the time. And Bob the Builder always feels obligated to take his little blue cat to the office and on building missions. Bob would probably get a lot more done if he'd just leave his damn cat at home--the cat is more trouble than the scarecrow!
Bob the Builder is actually very popular all around the world. Since it originated in England in 1999, it has been super popular there as well as in Germany and Japan (they added an extra finger on Bob in Japan for reasons I won't go into right now). And now it's in the US.
I also find it amusing that his name is Bob--which is the same name of my boss.
--Klonoa

When they worked, they worked. And when they didn't, they violently impressed themselves into your unconscious, making you think they're bad acid flashbacks.
