Oh yea from someone who play Samba de Amigo which is basically the same type of game, except you use maracas instead of feet. o_0 but anyways, suggestion, would be start off with songs that you kind of like, and also the more feet the harder it will be. begin with some 1 to 3 feet rateing songs first. Also most of the arrows will be somewhat with the beat of the music. ^_^ Also every Song has a one foot version. But the most important part is have fun, and also, if you don't do well at first, don't give up, you will get it down. Hell when I first played it, I went man this game sucks, but my 1st song was like the hardest. Well enjoy and remember have fun. ^_^

I dunno if any of you have SEEN Robbie play DDR, but it makes me wanna go out and get me one of my own. (A Robbie, not a DDR machine.) He flails! He stumbles! He even makes julian fries. (Hee.) But it's so ENDEARING! ^o^
But yeah, uh, even though by the time you read this you'll have already played, Jessie, stu's not very far off in the advice department. I'd say the main thing that you learn on your own eventually (but I'm cheating and telling you now) is to not watch the arrows at the top. If you've got even an inkling of rhythm in your bones, you should watch about halfway down the screen. It sounds weird, but everyone I know that plays DDR (that I've asked this to anyway) say that they do the same. n_n Yeah, and having fun helps. Being really cute and nice to strangers who talk to you helps too, because they're more likely to give you free credits and/or make you feel really, really cool. Which helps alot. Feeling cool, I mean.
-nicole, drawing... buddy yamcha? o_O

You guys are crazy if you believe Nintendo wanted kids to exercise. They wanted parents to open their wallets with the hopes that their kids would exercise.
Either way, though, it didn't work.
