I just got Sonic Shuffle for the DC yesterday and been enjoying the hell outta it. Makes me wonder what agenda the game magazines have that have been slamming it. So it doesn't quite meet the splendor of Mario Party 1 & 2, but it's still awesome. The mini games are inventive & are a total blast to play! My favorite one is the one where one player turns into a 3 story giant & has to stomp around to smoosh the other not-so-big players, who are wearing army helmets and are armed with machine guns.

Ugh, Mutt, I'm sorry, but I've been playing Sonic Shuffle all day today and me and Jeff both hate it. Yuck. It's too slow, loading times are horrendous, mini games are fun but you only get to play them about a third of the time, and the only way to earn rings to unlock bonuses is to play the un-fun one-player mode. And what's up with those "mini-events???"<P>I will say one good thing about Sonic Shuffle (besides cell shading). The mini games actually use the power of the Dreamcast, while some of the N64 Mario Party games and graphics look terribly dated. Still, Mario Party is about 1000000 times better than Sonic Shuffle.<P>--Klonoa
(I just got a perfect score in Samba de Amigo! Yay!)

My only bitches about the game is the loading time, the frequency (or lack thereof) of the mini games, and the cheapness of the computer opponents. Me & Rob were playing it on Tuesday night & were having a blast. It's not the best board game out there, but I think the $35 I plunked down for it was worth it. And if you're not interested in keeping your copy, I'm sure Rob would want it. ^_^
