I've got a few things in mind for this ball, in fact. Not gonna ruin anything, though I will say there's not going to be any physical or psychic combat (we can't have every social gathering be violent, else we all just decide to cut them out altogether!)

Hey, gang. Hope everyone survived Thanksgiving, and I'm sorry that things didn't turn out so well, Sakuya.
I only wound up getting half of the stuff I listed a couple days ago. Best Buy had an Early Bird special the likes of which I couldn't pass up: every CD in the place, $9.99 until noon. I saved a whopping $21 dollars, total, since 3 of the ones I grabbed (U2's "The Joshua Tree," Jimi Hendrix's "First Rays of the New Rising Sun," and Paul Simon's "Graceland") were all listed at $15, while The Very Best of Wilson Pickett was 11.99. Add to that James Taylor's Greatest Hits was $5.99 (originally 9.99), and I made out like a bandit.
Also got the X-Men movie. Cannon Spike didn't even look like it arrived at our Best Buy to begin with, and I don't think they ever gave second thought to even ordering Freebird the Movie. So, I'll save the former for my next paycheck, and the latter I'm going to look for tomorrow when I'm around and about.

December 2nd... oh, and I must have spent two and a half hours in line...

Hey, J-chan! ^_^ Waht a coincidence. Danielle and I went to Best Buy today, too! Wonder why we didn't see you... (j/k ) Anyway, we got there when they opened and had to wait in a long line to get in. Then, we had to find the stuff we wanted and wait in another REALLY long line to check out. (it didn't help that it was pouring rain this morning) I got Space Channel 5 for $9.99 and Powerstone for $19.99 as did Danielle (neither one of us have a DC yet, of course, but we're preparing ), but Danielle also got The Green Mile on DVD and my b-day present, a Beatles CD . It was crowded and everything, but we got pretty good deals so it's OK. We went to Gamestop after that (much later. We had a couple of hours to kill till it opened) where I thought they were have an SNES sale, but I think my friend told me the wrong name of the store. I was supposed to go w/my friend Jennifer, but she dumped me last night b/c she had made plans w/her boyfriend after she made plans w/me. -_- It doesn't matter that it was the wrong store b/c I got Bust-A-Groove2 for my PSX and I got Pokemon Gold for my brother. And Danielle got Ecco the Dolphin and Mortal Kombat for her Sega Genesis. They had Chrono Trigger there, but there was not way I was going to pay $79.99 for it!!!

$80 FOR CHRONO TRIGGER?!?!? GOD DAMN!!! That's just wrong for a game that old, no matter how good it is.
So, are you like I was, and dead tired right now from having to get up to stand in a huge line, Sakuya?

I sure am. In fact, I woke up from an hour and a half nap not too long ago and I'm still a little sleepy.

------------------

I had trouble going to sleep, too. Especially b/c I rented Pac-Man 20th Anniversary, Crono Cross (the idiots only gave me the 2nd disk so I gotta take that one back), and Crash Bash last night. ^^;
Breakfast sounds like a good idea. I'm hungry.

------------------
