We all know the first Twinbee game for the NES, right? It has 5 stages, then it loops. I've always wondered about something. How come in Stage 4 and 5, the graphics become freaked out? I mean, they have house parts and mountain parts for rivers and roads, farm parts and life-up parts for some of those ground targets, and even parts of the title for mountains. And the enemies are also freaked out. Some enemies do completely different things, and some enemies are mashed parts of 2 enemies. What is up with that?
The very first time I saw Stage 4, I thought I had been playing too long already and that the NES was overheating. After a few more gaming sessions, though, I realized that the freak out in Stage 4 and 5 were in fact intentional and not some manner of overheating. I dunno why, but it seems they really made it that way.
Have you guys ever wondered about this? Or have you never played Twinbee, in which case, I'm just sounding like an ass here?
"If I wanted to, I could play Twinbee all day..."
------------------
