Where we can talk all things related to AGD and Paranormal Romance!

Introductions

Postby Americangothic on Sat Jan 13, 2007 12:14 am

Thought I would start off with an intro thread- a place where we can all introduce ourselves. Just give a nick-name and maybe list an interest or two.

Me personally, I'd like to know how you learned about AGD!

Hi. My name is Alina and I am a comicholic... I mean, comic geek.. I mean, gah, damnit, these introduction things are hard! ;)

As for how I got here, let's see... I learned about AGD from your sigline when you posted on my forum, and have been reading it ever since... Congrats, by the way, on your shiny new forum!

I am who I am...

Caught interest when a certain person started playing havoc on IRC, but has yet to attack the whole archive... am currently recent reports on possible cameo-activity around here. If the reports are true I need to measure out the degree of punishment...

I suspect I shall have a very slllllooooooowwww forum. :)

Most of my AGD fans have been using my chatterbox to talk about Kim Harrison....yes...I'm afraid we are all big romance novel readers. Gee...go figure.

And Hogan...the cameos are starting, but very slowly. I have a different pacing than everyone else it seems. I do five days a week and write more like a real novel. I like the little details...I'm a sucker for little details. Seems more "real" that way.

It may be Febuary before most of them appear. So far Fangirl Katy has been the only one to show. I guess you'll be forced to read ADG more Muahhahahaha!

Just take your time... I need it to figure out the prober punishment anyway

And I don't consider more reading of AG as a punishment! 8-)

I finally figured it out!
ok everyone. I'm Kai, can also call me entropy, whatever. I'm 22, female, biochem major. Live in oho, orignally trinidadian (mutt mutt mutt).
I found this comic because i read sky's fanfiction and one day i was stalking her and found the site. ummm i'm not a very supernatural-ish person. but i'm a big daydreamer, ever since i was little (think bobby's world with a little brown girl) i'm still like that and so i like fanfics and comics, and i want to do my own eventually, or just illustrate one (shameless plug if anyone wants an illustrator:shucks: ). anyway...i'm talking to much and i will prolly go into lurk mode after this, but i will pop out and talk some too. nice to meet everyone!

welcome Kai!

I hope to be getting back to my fan fictions sooner or later...I have to admit, my comic has been taking up much of my time...but don't worry...I can't leave juicy Sesshoumaru alone for long!

Hello. Like Hogan, I got interested in this comic mainly because of chat. I only just now got around to reading through it, though. Great stuff!

Also, I looked through your links page, but I didn't find a banner for those wanting to link back to your site. Do you have one I could use?

You gotta scroll allllllll the way down to the bottom of the links page. they are hiding.

That problem will be fixed soon as I am going to be updating my links page again soon. Some of the comics I have there I have stopped reading and I have lots of new ones to add.

:D

Hi, I'm Sasjhwa.

I found American Gothic through the recent fan art exchange. It quickly became one of my favorites. I have made it my Site of the Week at http://sasjhwa.comicgenesis.com!

That entitles you to a banner on the links page and my devotion! Oh the joy!

Hi everybody (Hi Dr. Nick . . )

Postby Katyas on Tue Feb 27, 2007 7:12 am

It's KATY here - finally. I've been trying to figure out how to add my Yahoo avatar
<a href="http://avatars.yahoo.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://lookup.avatars.yahoo.com/wimages?yid=dangerous_worth_it&size=large&type=png" width="150" height="235" border="0" alt="Yahoo! Avatars"></a>

but I can't do it any other way because it is only exported by HTML . .

I can't even REMEMBER how I found the comic - maybe a note in the Comic voting thing? *shrug*

I have many and varied interested and read anything I can get my hands on. Check out my profile on Amazon.com if you want to learn a lot about me - it's under either Katy Sozaeva or dangerous_worth_it at Yahoo.com

You can also find out about what I'm up to at my Livejournal:

Oh, and I've chopped my hair off to about 1/2 inch and dyed it a color called "Black Cherry" - basically it looks black until you get in certain lights and then you see cherry red. It's coooool

I'm Syncline, shortened to 'Syn' by those who know me all too well.
I've been using this name since I earned and chose it; it is an octonomic name (aka an octagrammaton). Read into that what you can.

I tripped over a picture link to AG while skimming a ComGen ad. Once I saw AG, I read through them all in a single sitting. I finally broke down and sent G an EMail about something a few days ago...and figured I might as well sign up here too.
Never fear the bullet with your name on it. Watch out for junk-mail shrapnel addressed to 'occupant'.

Gothic, SciFi, or other writing?... sure! Slim pickins now but... http://syncline.blogspot.com/ the Axeman's Jazz
