Tom's Last Birthday Party (party thread)

Post by Tom the Fanboy »

For those of you not familiar with the sillier aspects of social forums. Party threads are built to emulate a party atmosphere and reflect the desire for a bunch of internet nerds to have social lives. :P

I welcome everyone to my birthday party, this is my last birthday party because I am turning 29 this year. Har har har...
So what kind of presents do you guys have for me?

Narf the Mouse got me a new IC post in the D&D thread!
God got me a beautiful cloud-striped sunrise with shades of dusky lavender and glowing oranges and pinks.

Everyone is welcome to the booze and soda in the fridge and the snacks on the counter. Don't kill the ficus and don't give the cops a hard time when they show up in a couple hours. Let's party!

Of course there's rum! It's on the left.

Ooh! 4th walls! I'll need a bunch of these for the Exalted games I'm in! Thanks!

I change the CD after

Found it, kinda. Warning: graphic violence, and of course spoilers for Farscape...

Ooh! Farscape! I have not seen that show in years! It was one of my favorite shows, and I had pretty much forgotten it... Sorry I cannot stay for the party, Tom. I have to go buy some DVDs now...

Oh yeah. I got you a video of some weird Japanese... Bah, watch it and decide what the thing is yourself. It is pretty cool, though.

My name made sense when I first thought it up.

I apologize in advance for the inevitable awkwardness.

**Walks in, hands Tom a congratulatory case of Guinness, mutters "Happy Birthday" and sits in the corner, watching the other party goers.**
