North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
Karsh grunts and says: "I logged the coordinates where the demon said he was attacked. We can head there as soon as we finish a sweep of the town here. Maybe having flyboy there get an arial view of things first is a good idea. You got any kind of binocs or camera you can send data with?"
Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
Dark Energy gives a hearty thumbs up to Karsh at his suggestion that he fly over and give an aerial sweep, but shakes his head when asked about having any gadgets.
"Sorry, no utility belt here... I can always report back shortly, though. If I see the perp I can signal from above.... er, somehow... Wow, I do see the problem."

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
Rex thinks back to his brush with the suspect earlier. He had an oversized duster like the ones that Bandito Arms made, but it was ragged and smelly, so Rex knew it couldn't have been actual Black Market wear. Thinking back, he remembered the mental training he was given as a pup. The CS Psi-Stalker in charge of his litter had run them through flash card drills with a drawings of weapons, d-Bees, and armor types. He was sure this armor was on one of those flash cards.
Everyone watches the dogboy go silent, screw his eyes up to one side in concentation, then mouth a series of words to himself. If Morgan didn't know better he'd say the dogboy was casting a spell. Suddenly Rex smacks his forehead "Three and then one, it's from Northern Gun!" Rex turns and begins to describe the light grey Northern Gun body armor the perp was wearing under his dark brown duster and backpack.

Finishing his description, Rex grins happily to himself, ears up, clearly proud and looking around at the rest of the group.
Rex begins patting his pockets and pouches, mumbling to himself as he fishes a small doggy treat out of his pocket and happily munches on it.
"Who's a good dog? Me! That's who! Om nom nom."

"Ok, so we've got a description... how about you take a quick scout-around, flyboy? If you spot anything that fits the description, just fly back to us and let us know which direction to go in. Then hopefully we'll have enough of a lead for Rex here to pick up the scent again. Sound like a plan?"

*Dark Energy gives the "thumbs up" and rockets into the air, creating a small cloud of dust in his wake. He stops about 200 feet up and sets up a hover while he gets his bearings. He gazes up and down the small town from his vantage point and proceeds to scout the whole of the town from a bird's eye view, flying up and down the length and width of the area*

Morgan looks up as Darkie takes to the skies, admiring his ability to control his flight so well. He wonders to himself what his propulsion method is, since Morgan fails to sense much PPE from Darkie.
