Newcomer in town.

Postby Kurrel on Fri Dec 21, 2007 10:45 pm

Hi everyone,

I discovered Weregeek recently and have read from as far back as I can reach within a short space of time.

Grand story and sense of humour that suits me right down to the ground.

I run a lot of different systems myself (Most of the WoD series, the Exalted of various kinds, DnD and SR but Legend of the 5 Rings especially) but have never had the chance to play or run online.
I hope I'll be able to setp up to the plate here in that regard.

Kurrel,
All smiles.

So, if I were to run a Lot5R game, would they come? :D

They'd show up faster than a Scorpion Temptress when the Shogun buries his wife!

Well, at least I would.

My GM that loves L5R only has time for 3 games and he's currently running 4. He has only been able to run D&D for any length of time. the L5R games end badly.

I've been wanting to play a shugenja for awhile now, especially in a game that's not half crab or half lion samurai with all their macho strutting.

I've heard about it. Sounds interesting.

Need to get out of this burn-out slump and actually contribute to RPGs I'm already in, though.

Figured I would use this thread to also introduce myself (look, im efficient!)I just recently found the comic Weregeek and like it alot, makes me feel nostalgic in some cases. Typical dork here: Play WoW, Magic (sort of), love Text RPs, Larping, D&D(though Im sort of new to that as well), etc, etc.

Mmm... cheap cheese. Cheese whiz, canned cheese (of the sharp cheddar variety), that powdered stuff that comes with instant Mac & Cheese... Yummie. I'll bet you there's a cookbook out there somewhere for making gourmet meals entirely out of fake ingredients for less than a dollar.

Anyway, back on topic for a moment: I'll be leaving the country again in about two months, so I'm a bit too wary to join up with an RPG. *Sadness*

Also, Kurrel: would you by any chance be Kurrel the Raven?
