Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Not at all. Tom's involved in prep for a Con until (I believe) the 7th of September. He said he'd try to post something around then. Until then, the rest of us are searching for traces of the guy who fled the battle in full armour in a somewhat panic-stricken fashion. He stood out from the panic-stricken townspeople in that he was the only one in MD body armour aside from us.
Feel free to chatter IC or maybe throw around some useful skills or ideas until then. Rex is waiting for a ruling on an Intelligence roll to determine the make and model of the gear worn by the fleeing guy.

Yeah, the game is still on.
I am currently fighting with youtube to cram all my videos online.
For those of you interested in seeing what ate my labor day, my photobucket and youtube accounts are both TomtheFanboy.
As for the armor and gear, Roll a d20. if it is under your IQ you succeed. Treat your IQ as 2 higher for the purposes of this roll due to your mercenary work. If you succeed I'll go look up some armor that the suspect could've gotten his hands on.

IQ Roll to determine Equipment. (1d20+2=11)
Made it by...er...oops...that shouldn't be 1d20+2...my IQ should be counted as 2 higher. *sigh*
OK! Back with another roll...
IQ Roll to determine equipment. (1d20=5)
WOO! Made it by 11 (13 with the +2).

OK, when I get home tonight I'll look up my books for some appropriate environmental body armor for him to wear.

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Alright guys, the hunt is on. I posted the description that Rex remembered in game, taking control of Rex for a moment.
What's your guys' plan for the hunt? You're just slightly south of the middle of town and about a quarter of the way to the Eastern edge of town. I'll turn the first post into a city map.
I hope you guys are ready to continue the game, otherwise it's gonna diiiiiiie!

I'm ready! Woot! I just graduated today, so I am back during the week. I should be able to post quite often now.

Well, that's two people. Best I can expect from a game on this board I suppose.

Hey, give us a break, we been busy.
Alina and I are still into the game! The only thing is, we're going to be moving to a new forum soon... probably within the week. Alina blogged about it a little while ago. We assumed that was why the forum has been so dead lately.

Oohhh...myabe I can switch to my Keenspot forum ID instead of my Comic Genesis/Keenspace ID. It only has 1000 posts on it!
I'll back up the Rifts character sheets and stuff just in case.

No, we're not moving to the Keenspot forums, we're opening up our own so that Alina can add sub-forums and such as she pleases. The new link will be at www.weregeek.com/forum (the test site is already there... go ahead and register if you want to get it out of the way!)
