Edno Checks Creualena's motive and looks at the Big Eye. (1d20+6=14, 1d20+4=14)
Crulean's Bluff Check (Don't recall an innuendo skill in 3.5, so I'm using bluff):
Bluff, Bluff, Bluff, Bluff the silly alchemist-charlatan. (1d20+5=9)
His innuendo is transparent:
They serve both Unliscensed and Half-bloods. He also suspects Eric of being unliscned. The serving of such folk is obviously kept on the DL.

Eric storms off, seemingly mortally offended by the insult of the barkeep, and goes to sit a table.
((didn't notice the second page, oops. Rolled a 10 untrained for my sense motive

I also pass him a silver coin and a piece of paper thanking him using sleight of hand. 1d20+12=17

((Of course this assumes that I think he means me well. If not, then I don't give him the note and coin. I feel stupid but what's DL mean?))

You understand what he bartender means, as the statement was clearly intended for you, you gain a +2 on the SM check.
To answer your question: DL means "Down Low"
The bartender hrumphs at the the trveling fighter, beckons the serving boy to appoach, and pours a pint of ale, directing serving boy to deliver it to the alchemist.

edno, after all has calmed down, decides this is the time to act as no more surprises are expected.
he asks for a word with the barkeeper, and once he is close edno signals him to lend him his ear "i too am looking for The Frozen Moon"

(Sorry I've been away, couldn't get hold of a comp yesterday.)
Kaldan, watching the exchanges, also takes a seat at the bar. He signals for the bartender.
"I was told to meet someone here. Someone in white, winter clothes. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find him, would you?" He asks, and orders an ale.

"Ol' Jakob has been busy, I see - He ain't here"
Cruelean see,s to be getting rather annoyed.

"So where would he be?" Kaldan asks, "I need to find him, as do these others apparently. I would be quite grateful for the information...possibly grateful enough to give a hefty reward..." He reaches into his vest and pulls out a small leather pouch, which he places on the counter. It *clinks*.

----- Wow. Lucky roll for you - on Cruelean's End
"Oh, hes behind his sign, as always."
Crulean looks around the room, and relises he spoke out loud.
"Er- Closin' Time - you four -"He points at Edno, Kaldan, Eric and the rogue. (forgot your name, sorry)
"Stay here."
The other patrons begin to shuffle out, as soon as the last one leaves, the man with the rapier slides inside.
"You couldn't fnd off their inquiries, could you, Cruelean?" He asks in a rather feminnine voice.
"Lemme Guess - Jakob?"

- Note the lack of dice being rolled -
the painted eye looks strangely like a painted eye. Its an odd quality for painted eyes to have, I know, but that is EXACTLY what it looks like.
To answer a question in PM, yes, everyone leaves, including the Illumians. They may or may not have been included for flavor or as red herrings.
The bouncer makes some innane crack about "The forest for the trees" in what is (still) a decidedly feminine voice.
"Jen is right. You people are so close, and yet so far"

Grath tries to intimidate Cruelean
