Narf, are there gaps in the floor tiles on this side of the door or could we get a decent pool of oil going on this side? I'm thinking that we spread a pool of oil on this side of the door, yank the door open, the swarm charges into the room and onto the pool and we light the oil...WHOOSH...swarm-flambe.
Sound feasible or will the oil just drain down in between the floor tiles?

Um.

Well, given the lack of mechanism attached to the hinges to make the doors moved, certain things can be assumed.

No need for all that! I've given us a perfectly workable gnomish solution to the rat swarm problem. Well, perfectly workable IF one discounts any of the untold number of things that could possibly go wrong with this little scheme, such as the rats climbing over the walls of the corral or the wolf getting full before all the rats are dead or the doors just falling over because we have nothing to hold them up with or the wolf being in the QIS box along with its master or ...

Korgan's heal check is an OC excuse to find out about filth fever and an IC check to see if Korgan really does need to use his next spell on Jacob. Korgan actually can't heal that many times, he's only first level after all. He would also like to use the spells he has memorized rather than sacrifice them into Cures.

All well and good, just so you understand that the unconscious Jakob won't be answering Korgan's questions until he regains enough Hit Points to come around.

I count four, and actually you did just post. I think somebody, maybe me, just needs to post something that will get folks moving again. Either that or you could always post the info on what Korgan finds upon his examination of Jakob.

Crap, a 12 is that bad?
Well OK, I guess that makes sense.
If he's unconcious he's out of the game. Gotta get him back up and running because I don't want to leave already!

Can somebody look at my character sheet?
http://www.3edb.com/viewCharacter.asp?cid=16108
It's blocked at the office.

IIRC I have already cast one 1st level spell today. I should have one more Cure Light to use on Jacob.

It's not bad. It's just two points above average. So, Jakobs' bandaging was 'Above average'.

Or in other words, 60% good.

Basically, all the important parts are bandaged.

I guess my allusion to dislike of rats has become a full blown panic attack! Nothing quite like a jumpy, mumbling bard to make things a little more interesting. Will saves were never my strong suit...

Hmm...Been bothering me...I'm not certain Jakob would have taken that last hit before the half the rat horde went down - Partly because I'm not certain how generous or lean that half was.

Eh? What's that Narf? You think there were less rats?
Or do you think there were more rats over here for us to kill?

I know it factors in to how many HP the swarm has but I think the events that happened so far seem fine.

Oh, and does my second heal check let me notice the filth fever? Since his wounds will still show the infection after I've Cured them I figured it was worth a shot.

Yeah, I think 17 is high enough to notice a new disease. I mean, 'filth fever' really doesn't sound subtle.

Many thanks to Lunaroki who is both Awesome! and Totally Awesome for making me an avatar from the Raider's pic. When I get the chance I'll load it up and switch my current one out.

Um, Narf? We're kinda stuck here. Korgan is waiting on you for a Heal Check, I'm waiting on a response from Korgan, and I think everyone else is now waiting on me, so we kinda need the results of that Heal Check to get things rolling again.

*blink blink*
I was waiting for Jacob. Thanatos finally posted (he's on assignment out at sea...the navy and all) so I'm ready to move on.
I'll post soon.

Well, if that 17 was for resisting disease, the disease would be resisted...

...But it was posted at the same time as the bandages were removed, so I really don't know what it was for, unless it was for not fumbling taking bandages off.

Int check, DC 20, to identify the noise.

Alternately, Insanity check if your Wisdom has a negative bonus, DC 0 to identify the noise.
