And thanks for mentioning that link ... if you guys start tonight I will just join in later thanks to gaia RPing I normally can come up with hilarious stories for being late. If I need help I will post in here

Oh, sorry! I have a name already. Korgan Stonefoot.

He'll be starting with a heavy mace, but I haven't rolled up the 5d4*10 gp to see what else I can afford.

Don't worry about his smell guys. He was taught him that goblin worgs will smell you coming, so if he's looking for a fight he uses the orison Clean before he heads out every morning. No promises at the END of the day though.

(I selected combat Casting as my feat btw, since I haven't got my sheet up online yet)

Tom the Fanboy: ??? - Dwarf Cleric

khayankh: Elana Goldman - ??? Bard
Invaluable Kiwi: Ellimist - Elf Druid
Thanatos5150: Jakob Nightbreeze - Human Rogue
Thunderhowl: Rowan - Human Fighter
Lunaroki: Simon Burble - Gnome Rogue

That makes 2 Bards, a Cleric, a Druid, a Fighter and 2 Rogues. Not counting any players who haven't officially submitted a character yet that's 7 characters thus far. I'm just wondering exactly how big a party are we looking at here by the time we're ready to go?

More charecters means more meat shields. And more people to con. Without any real magi, us and the bards become valuble members!
And with the so far, humorusly notable exception of our cleric, we all seem to be highly mobile peoples. (The cleric could do to prove me wrong, still).

Been setting up a table to check my encumbrance, and it looks like Simon's carrying 41+ pounds of junk, putting him well into a Medium load. That's not good for a Rogue, especially one who is in the Small category. His movement drops from 20 to 15 feet that way. Gonna have to make some tough choices as to what he should drop. Any recommendations? I was thinking the crowbar might be a good one to get rid of, maybe drop his armor from Studded Leather back to plain old Leather, ditch one of the Daggers. Any other things Simon doesn't really need?

Elana Goldman is an elf, sorry if that wasn't clear. If nobody else becomes an arcane spellcaster, I'm scrapping my current character and creating an elven sorceress named Tova Goldman.

I'm calling arcane spell-chucker at this point, since nobody else has. Still debating wizard vs. sorceror.

Luna, one of the first things I'd ditch is extra clothing. Also, take into account that any clothing you're wearing doesn't count towards encumberance!

For fun, I completed the Monk's sheet as well, it can be found here:
http://www.3edb.com/viewCharacter.asp?cid=16076

And, spell slingers? boo!
You guys better prove useful! You're taking me down a peg on the "to protect" scale. ^.^

Lunaroka - Character approved.
Thanatos5150 - Alternate character approved, if you ever want to switch.
Tom the Fanboy - No character yet that I saw. Have you dropped? Or did I just miss it in the crush?

Everyone - Would anyone have an objection to extending things an extra day (Or, if nessasary, two) so that our newest players can make characters?

My list of players and approved characters:
Thanatos5150 - Jakob "Nightbreeze", Rogue
Lunaroka - "Simple" Simon Burble, Rogue
Tom the Fanboy
Khayankh - Elana Goldman, Bard
Invaluable Kiwi - Ellimist, Druid
Thunderhowl - Rowan, Fighter

I'd ditch the extra clothes, the crowbar (I've got one), drop down to leather and drop a dagger. Remember that you can drop your backpack (and it's weight) fairly easily should a fight break out, and that can make a big difference in the load. Seriously, who fights in a backpack? That's just asking for fatigue penalties.

Narf: I don't mind waiting until everyone's ready. More players means more targets for the bad guys!

I should probably point out to everyone that I'm more a scrapper than a tank, and aggro control isn't my thing. :D

You do know they have Swashbukler as a base class in CW, right?
Unfortunatly, I can't provide intel on it, yet.

Odd story, I Ordered Complete Scoudrel AFTER I ordered Complete Warrior and Scoundrel got here first.
Some of these skill tricks and equopment are looking mighty tasty. Including the one that seems to work alot like a Split jump from Splinter Cell.
Good times.

Hmmm...interesting. I might have to look at multiclassing to Swashbuckler or something at some point.

Currently, I don't have that book, and was hoping to keep it fairly simple for now.

We should come up with a company name or something. If there's going to possibly be 7+ of us anyway. I've read all the Black Company novels by Glen Cook (SO. GOOD.) and am a big fan of Order of the Stick and being part of a large adventuring guild or company has always appealed to me. Kind of like a D&D Justice League or something.
Hmmm...anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Order of the Stick? Band of the Red Hand? Fantasy Mission Force? Anyone?

*contemplates names with both meaning and hilarity*
Fire in the Dark?
A bunch of Sneaky Bastards and the Cleric?

Order of the Light Weapon?
Stealthy Spelunkers Anonymous - "we delve the dungeons with pointy things so YOU don't get the treasure"?

Okay, I'm lost on names...

Any preferances on the fighter? Such as Archery-focused/melee-focused.
Specific brand of weapon, future plotting for prestige classes and/or skill trees. Agile, tank?
I have no problem throwing something together for you, but these are things I need to know. ^.^

I have a twelve-hour watch tomorrow night, and the N6 guys don't really care that much as long as I clean my cookies, don't look at porn, and don't neglect my work.
The other night, I spent all twelve hours READING. One book. I'm a slow reader.

I'll start a scimitar-wielding general Cleave-type fighter. The SRD doesn't have starting wealth rolls, so I'll try to stay generally within the starting package - unless one of ya'all can PM me starting wealth for a fighter, which I would MUCH appreciate.

Not gunna pay much attention to "other gear", until I get that intel, though. Also, I'm leaving alot of things as TBD - name, diety, hair&eyes, height&weight, et cetera.

As for the WX stuff.
VIRGA bad, amatuer observer no see VIRGA. ASOS no pick up VIRGA. The forecaster becomes angry when I don't tell him about the non-existant VIRGA.
Solid/liquid precip, not too concerened about that.

~Whoa! Three Feat goodness at first level! A level up could start you down the Whirlwind Attack tree, if only becuase you can't do Great Cleave at 2nd level! Currently staying away from mounted combat, even though you have ranks in Ride (horse).
