Hmm. Not a good sign for the geeks when one of their own is already supplying foreshadowing!

Re: Today's comic
I wish I could go camping some time. The only friends of mine who go camping don't go camping, they go eventing! Like with the SCA.
The Boy Scout in me is dying, it's been so long since I've been out in the woods.
Plus my wife hates camping and hiking.

SCA sound like the historical re-enactment types,The Sealed Knot (English civil war) or Kentwell Hall (Tudor) lot et al. Ultra anal and more than a little "touched". And this from a larp'er.
Then again come the zombie apocalypse I'll be hanging with them as they have all the swords.

Camping. *shudder* I was outside for 20 minutes today and got around 50 mosquito bites. Cursed outdoors! It has no air conditioning!

Since we recently joined Keenspot, they put us in the Newsbox for 3 days. The resulting spike in traffic affected our site loads... mainly because we didn't have Wordpress Cache active. The problem has been fixed (unfortunately, not in time to take advantage of the ad... but we'll get more Keenspot traffic soon enough!)

Interesting timing they have, WoW heads per chance or just your standard humourless tech nazis out to scupper your fun?

Re: Today's comic
Thanks for the comic!
Maybe they're going to Dead Camper Lake!
http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/d/dead ... 48btpy7fxw
It always bugs me when people go camping and then use a cabin. It's the boy Scout in me. I feel that you aren't camping with a roof over your head. you're just "going out to the lake". When people say they're going camping and they drive their RV to a KOA or something, I just roll my eyes at the city slickers.
That's the benefit of being a self aware suburbanite. I can roll my eyes at the country bumpkins and city slickers.

RE: Sushi & Korean Barbecue places:
They're called "Yakiniku" Or, I think thats the Romanji for it.
Indeed, they are awesome places.
I'm a fan of one place here in Yokosuka nicknamed "Frog's"

Re: Today's comic
I've only eaten at one Korean BBQ place and we didn't get any of the "cook at your table" dishes they offered. I enjoyed the portions but spicy food is SUPER EFFECTIVE on my weak taste buds so there weren't many options for me.
Yeah, not liking spicy food and an allergy to seafood limits my options when it comes to Asian cuisine.
BTW, the IT guys fixed the network so now I can read comics. I found out that they upload new blocks server-wide when they set up a new work group... then take them down piece by piece for the rest of us while they start checking their comics and other websites.

I am totally jacking the little picture of me in costume for my Icon. I will recommend that the nefarious Professor Lazarus Nowhere do the same.
