Thought I'd bring this thread out of obscurity to act as an ongoing comment-on-the-latest-comic thread.
I laughed so hard when I saw that Mark, Abbie and Sarah were singing the lyics to the Safety Dance!
Wonderful, perfect geeky moment set to a true geek anthem. ^_^

Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"
Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

Hey, I like songs from the 50's and 60's and I was born in '79.
I have a livejournal
'Rule #2 : There is the game and there is reality. Between them is a BIG HONKING wall.' - Narshal, RPG.net, D&D alignment debate.

There was a song released over here called Acceptable In The 80s not long ago. While I agree with music and cartoons, the fashion sense left something to be desired. Well except to goth which really hasn't evolved much since then

Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?"
Then a voice says to me, "This is going to take more than one night." - Charlie Brown

...Who are these guys, again? I can't find their pictures in the cast page.
Ah, there they are, in the early comics.

When he says, "I've never talked to you guys outside of the Vampire game", Mark is being very gentlemanly to overlook this occasion.

Only works in goth clubs sadly, or Starbucks but then you have to live with the knowledge that you're just auctioned off a bit of your soul by drunking there.Clambake 39 wrote:If scrawling a few lines of doggerel into a moleskin in a blarringly loud discotheque is all it takes to be swarmed by women, then I think I have a new plan for this Saturday night.

I gotta say, Joel messing with the pretentious goth kids like that is the clearest evidence we've seen to date just how despiccably evil he really is.

Of course he's evil. He's a GM. Evil is in the job requirements.

Just some guy so far as we can tell right now... I mean despite the fact he is wearing black, I do not think a goth club is a place he would really fit in. He is there for a reason. Though if that reason is just to freak mark out more, or if he really is some psycho who enjoys hunting geeks, we do not know... My guess is that Joel is somehow behind it though since he is the only one to have interacted with the hunter other than mark. Well, out side of that game, that is...
Not to mention that if he can track them to the goth club, he knows where they left from. And their larp is right where that escape path Joel had set up for Mark lead to... Though personally, I am hoping I am wrong and he really is a murdering psychopath with a sense of humor. They just always make things more interesting.

My name made sense when I first thought it up.
I apologize in advance for the inevitable awkwardness.
