Sketchbook Sundays!
Hey guys! Here is the first installment of Sketchbook Sunday! This here is one for the werewolf fans. Enjoy!

This is an early sketch of Abbie. Most of the other characters are pretty much the same as I'd originally envisioned them, but Abbie and Mark kept changing around. I'll have to see if I can find some of those early sketches - they'd be good for a laugh. Originally, Abbie had pigtails and freckles!
This was the first sketch where Abbie's final design came together - right down to the goofy grin!

Man, I want socks like that...

A happy Easter to those of you who celebrate it, and a merry long weekend to those of you who don't! I for one celebrated this long weekend by going out for some amazing Mexican food with friends, which is why I didn't update this sooner. Silly me. ^_^
Anyway, in honor of spring, I give you - Joel in a bunny suit. Hee.

Whew! Got this one posted just under the wire! (Well, in my time zone, anyway
These are some preliminary sketches for Abbie's D&D character. Why are her ears sticking so far out from under her hood? Was I having a Lodoss moment?? Or did I just -really- want to hit the audience over the head with the fact that she was an elf? These are the things I ponder...

These are some sketches I did of the group's D&D characters. I played around with different ideas for Dustin's helmet for a long time, and then realized that it would be easier to simply leave off the helmet altogether so that you could see who he was more easily. I'm glad I did, if only because I like the bandage around his head when he's injured.

Um, I don't know if we're supposed to be posting in this particular thread, but the last two pics aren't showing up for me. I think maybe it has something to do with the fact that you're hosting your images on Geocities. Geocities doesn't like folks hotlinking to images stored on their site.
Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"
Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

Weird. Now I can see them both too. I guess it must be a problem on my end.

It probably was a problem with geocities. I've been uploading them there in big batches, but know that I think about it, I don't see why I couldn't just upload them to my ComicGenesis account. I don't think there's any restrictions on how much you can upload...
Anyway, sorry for the glitchiness! I'll reupload all of these to CG over the next little while, and hopefully we won't have any more problems.
Also - I totally encourage posting on this thread.

One last D&D sketch before this storyline is done! This one is a drawing from the D&D game I play in. If anyone's curious, that would be JmcV's character in the front, and my cleric behind her. (Yes, the cleric has an axe. It's a long story, and it involves dwarves. Don't ask.)

Ain't nothing wrong with a cleric with an axe (in 3rd ed).
I like the drawing. We have artists in our gaming groups but they are so shy about their work that they hardly ever draw stuff that they'll share with us. There is one exception, who is awesome, and who drew the party wizard playing guitar hero.
I think the Griffon is my favortie so far.
