Is that the one they used for the movie? Honestly no two films upset me as much as a kid as Transformers and The Death of Spock.Thunderhowl wrote:I have the Transformers movie theme by Lion stuck in my head.

Or if you want to constantly be in a REM cycle aka make your sleep worthwhile what you do is stay up for 4 hours (or was it 3??) then sleep for 30 minutes. After two weeks your body adjusts to it and when you sleep for those 30 minutes it immeaditly goes to REM sleep. However for those first two weeks you are crabby as hell.
Umm... maybe I'm misunderstanding this. How much actual sleep a night are you suggesting? Because it sounds like one hour, and yeah, that would make me crabby as hell.
Oh, wait... unless you're talking about just adjusting yourself to instant REM so you can get like 2-4 hours of straight REM sleep a night, in which case that's actually pretty clever. But I still don't get how much sleep you're suggesting for the first 2 weeks.
And maybe I'm screwing up on my sleep science here, but don't you need deep sleep in addition to REM? I know you supposedly go crazy if you don't dream, but doesn't your brain get fried if it doesn't get a chance to totally shut down a bit every night?

Actually from what I was told you do that stay up for 3-4 hours then sleep for 30 minutes then 3-4 hours later sleep again for 30 minutes. So it would lead to 4-3 hours of REM sleep a day just not in a row.
From what I learned in psychology is that yourbody actually only needs the REM cycle. A person will go crazy if he / she does not get REM sleep. The non REM cycles do not matter much. But then again this is based off of my psychology professor so if anyone else knows more about sleep then go ahead and correct me.
