Fear the one sentence posts!
LOL

OK, so summer time and people are all over the place. I'm fine with game slowing down but I want to make sure you guys are still here. Alina's last blurb said she was back in town.
Anybody going to be out on trips this summer? Any "expected outages" among the Rifts crew?

I for one am here until Labor Day weekend, that's my con's time.

I'm here until GenCon in August, then I'll be gone for about a week.
Until then, I'm champing at the bit.

I'm still here. RL is a little hectic, and I'm learning to cope with it anyway. Checking in as often as I can. Will try to take more opportunities to check in.

As I said before, I'm in school all during the week with only the weekends to check my forums. I'll participate as much as I'm able.

OK, I'll make sure that things update every other week then no matter how many people have chimed in.

For now just presume that everyone has gathered in front of the Red Barn and ready to begin the search for the Psi-Stalker(s).

Oh dammit.... my office has blocked the invisible castle. Now I can't make rolls at work.
OK well I guess today's update will have to wait until tonight. Sorry everyone.

No worries mang...at least you tried.

Can't wait for the update! Do you need me to make my tracking/sensory rolls or would you prefer to take care of it to preserve the air of mystery?

Well, until someone objects you're in charge.
Go ahead and roll your track by scent roll in the alley across the street where your first suspect ran. We might as well just skip ahead past the reasoning that would single out that guy from the other few bar patrons that ran away.

Tracking Roll by scent, 1000ft range

Curses...missed it by 3%! Er...unless the Psi-Stalker is using it's powers, and then it's a success by 32%! :D

No worries Tom, we're patient.

Dude, maybe you can swing a bonus percentage for your tracking roll if you "take ten". Don't forget, we can try physical tracking as well.

Hey, I've got a rules question for you, Tom. What is the difference between using Mask ISP, and using the Alter Aura ability to "conceal the presence of psychic ability"? I assuming that the latter only applies if someone is sensing you only by using a Sense Aura-type power, while the other hides it -completely-, but I figured I'd get it clarified.

Indeed. Now would be a great time to get that clarified. Can't have the Dog Boy sniffing you out just yet...we need more time to create dramatic tension!

Mask ISP will hide your psychic presence across the board. Alter Aura is just for Aura viewing and judging a person's power levels. Vegeta will not know what your power level is, but Professor X will.

I'll make a post soon. I made a couple of rolls for npcs at home so I'll be ready.

So what is the range on Jane's Detect Psionics?

When I said track I was thinking like a trail or pathway. I didn't want to use the term "alley" because that conjures too many images of the big city.

I will change track to Alley and you can edit your post Punstarr.

So, I'll be in convention mode for the next week and a half or so. I'll try and remember to post before the 7th of September.

I don't have that skill unless it's a free one that comes with all Modern WPs.
Could I make an Intelligence roll to recognize weapon and Armour manufacturer?

Hey guys. Been kind of MIA lately, I know. Busy with my new job, but decided to try to catch up with all the goings on lately.

I took a look at my character sheet again, and so far I'm not seeing anything as far as skills or spells that will help the group. *sigh* I'll take another look this evening to see if I can figure out anything to post IC. Again, sorry for my absence of late, and I'll try to be more active as I was at the start.

Take care, y'all.
