Hey Punstarr, perhaps you would have an idea of who this is if you read one of the articles that was conveniently provided by the OP instead of just padding your post count with inane blather.
As for the topic at hand, I only wish he could have lived long enough to see more of his visions fulfilled.

Man. Sci-fi and fantasy are taking an ass-kicking this year.
First Robert Jordan, Gary Gygax and now Sir Clarke. Can we start 2008 over?
Oh, and Clambake? We generally try to steer away from being dicks to each other around here. Normally we'd point out some good sites for Punstarr or anyone else who was new to the topic some places to go to educate themselves rather than take cheap shots at them. You can post however you like, of course, but we all generally try to be a little more polite.

Post count clambake? What forum are you reading?
It's really sad to see him go. Literature has lost another great mind.
Man there's been a lot of famous deaths this year, it makes me kind of scared that somebody I like is gonna die on my wedding day.
**PS Everyone, don't feed trolls.**

That really wasn't necessary. Way to be a jerk. My point was that he wasn't anyone I had ever heard of before, but that I'm sorry because maybe I should have, hence theClambake 39 wrote:Hey Punstarr, perhaps you would have an idea of who this is if you read one of the articles that was conveniently provided by the OP instead of just padding your post count with inane blather.
