Woohoo!!! Go Calli!
/me poings around the room excitedly
Good luck!
On a more serious note, you might find that your problems with maintaining a steady update schedule recently put you at a disadvantage . . . I think the Keenspot Gods prefer strips that update regularly . . .
Anyway, good luck! ;-)
himi

I think it may be a little early, but if there's one thing Keenspot is good at, it's making exceptions. Can't hurt to try! And at least it'll get the Powers That Be to notice.
------------------

Well, with all the talk of money and whatnot recently, I felt like I should say something:
When I get back from Christmas break, I am going to apply for Keenspot.
I don't know how well this will go, except my best shot is to beef up my archives now and keep my pageviews constant at least. But I'm feeling pretty optimistic. The creator of Schlock Mercenary said that his highest daily pageload count was 349 before he got 'Spottted. My current average is about 400. (Awwwwwwwright, which one of you turkeys has been clicking through the archives every day?! )
Sure, my readership (at least the ones I know of) is in the double-digits still, but I'm taking the plunge. Hey, with POCKET being a niche-strip that KeenSpot doesn't have covered yet, and a pretty decent hitter for all of the 2 months it's been here...why not?
------------------

Be patient, Calli. Good things come to those who wait.
Now, if only I could follow that advice with my ISP. I missed a day of all my comics and I need to catch up on message boards too... which makes the waiting even *more* agonizing.
-Tom

Yeah, go ahead and apply. If you don't ask, they can't say yes.

The nice thing about Keenspot is that they don't ever tell you "no", because if your comic isn't 'Spot material now, that doesn't mean it will never be.
So they just don't tell you "yes".
------------------

Which one???
You've sent 2. The "Christmas/Holiday Party" and the one that casts Bush in a more deserving (i.e. murky and dishonorable) light. And before that there were the "Why YOU -- yes YOU -- need to come to #crfh RIGHT NOW!!!" replies...
By the by, keep trying. DALnet can be really wonky sometimes. Oh, and did you see the message about #adelaidecomics? Hope to see you there!
------------------

Well, my attitude is, if it happens it happens. If not, try again later.
Did trying ever kill anyone (in a non-lethal field, that is)?
------------------
