Pff. You should still vote for me, but let's not be antagonistic toward Mab.
------------------

Hey thanks Calli - I love you too
I don't mind if you beat me - well, not much anyway, but do let us unseat GuG first... anyway. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.g ... Mab, Calli, I apologize, I was out of line. At present there is aproximately a 30 vote gap between Blotto and Pocket. At the current rate it will be a day or two (at least) before Pocket takes sixth place. I wish Blotto the best of luck.(In my opinion...they're going to need it...nothing personal)
Your friend whos glazed eyes tell you he's currently feeling the after-glow of a quadruple expresso, Averageman
[This message has been edited by Averageman (edited 11-15-2000).]

Not to surprising, they do allow animated banners,(takes up 3-4 times what a still does...depending) and the Methodical Madness banner was large as well.(about the same size as Calli's if memory serves....) Worst comes to worst everyone will redo their banners in a larger format(and then a size limit might be enforced...who can say?)
Your Friend, AM

Granted, this is Pocket's forum, but there's really no reason to badmouth other comics. The Top 100 list is in NO way an accuarate measure of a comic's popularity. It is only a measure of how many friends the cartoonist can cajole into clicking a little box every day. To be honest, I recruited my family to do just that. I really don't care about getting to number 1, but I wanted to get high enough to display my banner since no one ever clicks on the text links. (BTW, Pocket's banner is WAY too large, in dimension and in file size. It's really quite selfish to take that much time to load one banner on a list like this.)

------------------

I would have thought that they'd limit graphics to standard banner size, to prevent somebody from making, say, a 12"x12" ultra-banner.
------------------
