Averageman- in Ithaca it was snowing in October. But then- I hate snow. I'm not masochistic (just autistic...) (so why am I planning on staying here? Don't answer that question, I know the answer already...)
Have to agree with you, that crossover was especially well-done, and well-resolved. I won't even make any puns about it...

I used to live in Ithaca up until May 28th of this year -- and this year it snowed on April 8th up there. April! I love snow, though, and I miss it.Where I live now (eastern Massachusetts, near Boston), it snowed a couple of weekends ago, around mid-October. But it didn't stick, so I was kind of disappointed.
