The best part about crazy characters is that they don't need character development, you can just have them say something wacky! Instant punchline!

I learned how to write from Hollywood blockbusters.

Well, we don't know how much space there is between cities.

Well, I thought it was funny.

Then again, I also liked dead mans chest and spiderman 3 so.....

What's wrong with Dead Man's Chest and Spiderman 3, might I ask?

No real ending. But At World's End fixed that up nicely.

and Spiderman 3, might I ask?

It was too awesome. So good.

Nothing. I actually liked them quite a bit. BUT! A lot of people badmouth them, just like Elflad self-deprecated this strip. Actually, what made this strip funny wasn't the main joke but the "a whole family's fun all to myself!" line.

At worlds end was very awesome. I loved every minute of it. Critics suck. The movie was the perfect end to the trilogy, and now has sealed the three movies status as my favorite movie series. Ever.

Dead mans chest was a thoroughly enjoyable movie, and while it may not have wrapped up everything, I found the ending just fine for a movie with it's sequel coming out within about a year.

Spiderman three was a pretty good movie, but the emo strut section has completely outshone everything from that movie. That was just about the loudest I have ever laughed in a movie theater.

Yeah, World's End replaced no ending with merely a bad one. I enjoyed he movie, but the ending is terrible, and I wish there was a place to properly debate this.

I think I could certainly get to like Algernon.

Tiako, go see it again, and stay until after the credits.

He adds character humor to the strip, something it was certainly lacking.

Anyone who enables more poking-fun at generic RPG worlds and technology is good in my book.

Um, if they can sail across the world by going north/south, then the world is actually a torus. Unless you can't sail the same way going west/east, in which case it's still a sphere, just oriented incorrectly. Either way, no tube.

Unless they're on a Rama-like thing, in which case it sorta is a tube but leads to weird questions about sunrise/sunset.

Don't be "vague helpful guy". I mean if you goal is to help via criticism, point out what you think could of been done to improve it. As is, your post is about as helpful as saying, "The comic would be funnier if you wrote funnier jokes."

Vania twirling her finger around her head is hard to catch; Carnahan saying, "Seconded," is what a lot of people will see first.

I don't see what's so vague about it.

Oh you say that now Elflad, but in a coupla years you'll have so many "fans" attacking you for every comic you'll cease interaction with the posting populace and only post to say "new comic is up" and give explanations for lateness.
Four years from now you'll start talking in third person and wearing sunglasses even more often than usual.
Six years from now you'll stop interacting with other people all together and just sit in your room with the lights off watching old firefly episodes.

Um, bout the comic anyway...
It's sorta funny. I caught the twirling finger, but not until after "seconded". I guess it's just a weak joke. A bit uninspired, really.

Unless the tube was folded a different way.

Well, I modified the comic. It's still kind of a lame joke, but I think the execution has improved.

P.S. The world is not flat. IT IS A SERIES OF TUBES.

Comic Genesis is back! I laughed at this one. It reminds me of so many things...

Nunchuck!

I have nothing useful to add here.
