At least I haven't told them that Antonio's theme is just going to be the guitar solos from November Rain.

edit: Frans will, of course, be playing the keyboard intro to Don't Stop Believin' in his big scene.

Lawlz at incentive #62, btw. It's more funny than the comic is! (Though the "I fight with cards" is like... MAJOR foreshadowing. *eerie music* Maybe Hemlock will forceably kidnap a major opera singer and fly off on her airship? Hmm...)

I love this comic's style of humor. "I fight with cards!" Might want to avoid the face cards Hemlock. They tend to carry weapons.

Also, which character is the Gau-like oddball fighter (i.e., unbelievably powerful but incredibly tedious to power up)?

Algernon. Personally, I think FFX is a better comparison.

Lionel/Yuna- healers
Antonio/Tidus- the basic swordfighters
Carnahan/Kimahri- the silent one w/ badass moves
Vania/Wakka- ranged battler
Hemlock/Lulu- black mage
Antonio/Auron- just badass
Cykla/Rikku- last joiner, also fights with claws, (there's a bonus picture of the seven fighting a dragon on Comic #8-11, somewhere...)

I've been hearing Hemlock speak with a heavy Louisiana/New Orleans accent ever since she pulled out her deck o' cards and Legendary just doesn't want to spell out the accent phonetically.

Y'all got Hemlock all wrong. She ain't some crazy assed black mage or somethin'! She's like Cara (ff5) or Relm (ff6), always seemingly sweet with that underlying UTTERLY CRAZY SPIRIT THAT WANTS TO DESTROY ALL, and she's always <strike>bitching</strike> talking pleasantly about her grandfather.

The nails are in the coffin on this one.
