So Rhoda's a dwarf?

She looked pretty normal-sized in all the other comics.

Not to mention the lack of beard. That's a bit of a throw-off.

I don't know. Maybe she's half-dwarf? Heh! Get it? Half-Dwarf? Because dwarves are already half human? It's funny to me.

Because she never really stood next to someone else. Check out #55 though, you can tell she's shorter than Antonio, who's already pretty short compared to Lionel, Carnahan, and Joan.

Well, she is female. Not that it makes a difference with some dwarves.

like the ones Gimli talked about.

Yeah, I never really noticed that. I kinda guessed that it was a distance thing, so she looked smaller because she was closer to the background.

Fun, fun. We've already got four major races as big, fancy, important characters.

Oh hell yes, Firefly-referencing goodness.

Interestingly, while I didn't get the DVD set of Firefly for Christmas this year, I did get it for Christmas last year. WOAH!

Firefly! W00t!

All in favor for ressurecting the series?

That show is amazing. I remember that scene.

Unfortunately, Joss can't ressurect Firefly, cause the show is owned by Fox, and he wants nothing to do with them... however, that doesn't mean he can't continue the story, he'd just have to convince Universal to allow him to make a show named Serenity.

I heard somewhere that there might be plans to turn the Firefly story into some type of MMORPG. ...I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I missed posting about yesterday's comic, but I wanted to say I'm impressed with the number of jokes you fit into six panels: the (kickass) reference, the obviously blatantly evil advisor, the pun and the useless item gag in the last panel. Seriously, anyone ever steal something worthwhile from a non-boss monster?

As for today's comic...more clichés that don't actually work. Or perhaps they did and our princess is smart enough to pull a double-bluff. But I doubt it. Yay!

As to the second part of her flashback, aka the latest comic:
I love reading the comic because it always throws you a curve in a funny way. The over-cliched private eye is the perfect contrast to Carnahan.

Carnahan is a marketing genius, advertising right below Gilmour & Bryant.

Also, the comic is so much more effective if you imagine Gilmour with Zapp Brannigan's voice.

Today's comic is ten times funnier for me because I am currently reading a Dashell Hammat collection. And yes, it is funnier with Zap Brannigan's voice.

Nice job, Elfy! This makes me think of Tracer Bullet from Calvin&Hobbes...
Oh, and good call on the Zap Brannigan thing. That's hilarious! Why didn't you post that in the comment below the comic?
