Heh, I guess because of the movie Alexander. There was a scene in which Hephaistion refers to Alexander as "my Alexander," and quite a few people (including me) obsess over either the scene or just the line, or the way it was said, or something. And I guess I'd been assuming they would've been speaking Greek, hence wanting to say it in Greek, but now that I think about it, they were probably speaking Macedonian. Oh well. The languages are probably pretty similar anyway. Annnd, now I want to read Fire from Heaven again but I can't thanks to school. >.<
As a random PS, I actually don't really support the belief that Alexander and Hephaistion were lovers.
And I do realize that that was an excessive rant and you probably won't know what I'm talking about...
