Glad to see Lightbringer is back!
Minor complaint: Little typo at "plots".

"Who" in this case refers to multiple people, so grammatically it is correct to say "plot." I did look over this before I wrote it. ^_~

Maybe "those who plot" would make it more apparent that the who is plural. That is assuming it's not the rock band "The Who" who are plotting to kill him.
