Frankly, I'm frightened if either of the two so-called major candidates wins here in the US where I'm posting from (I do really and truly recommend seeing <A HREF="http://www.salon.com/comics/tomo/2000/0 ... index.html" TARGET=_blank>this</A> cartoon by Tom Tomorrow, if anyone anywhere in the US is interested, though it's 8pm here and far too late to influence any votes- not that I expect to have done so anyway <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gif"> )Hrm... if any of the so-called minor candidates win, even the one I voted for, I'm still not really all that happy. Though- there are degrees, and degrees. (And the realization that ... hrm.)Well, I'd been meaning to at least visit the UK at some point in 2001 if opportunity presented (and funds, and ... hrm. bother. yes.) and now perhaps you may well be right that I may want to not only visit but, erm... miss the return flight... leaves some questions I'd have to work out... I'm waiting. Bush will win, and the skies will cloud over, not with heavenly wrath, but with carcinogenic pollution. The man can't even handle Texas; we're supposed to trust him with the whole COUNTRY?!
