It may be a bit early to start this, but what the hey.
I need some slogans for the C.Ulture Shocked banners I'll one day design. Something snappy that sums up the strip. So far I've come up with
"It's British. But not in a good way"
and
"A very British view of America"
but I need more so we can all have a big vote on it later. So, bring forward your ideas here and let's see what we can come up with.
Kitsune

Something funny to come out of Britain not containing the words "Monty Python" or "Benny Hill".
------------------

"For the American in all of us"
Stranger in a completely screwed up land"
you could try and rework that one, I'm sure there's a funny way to say it but I'm not thinking of it right now.
"C.Ulture Shocked: It's British for Fun!"
"C.Ulture Shocked: a lesbian writes this strip!" Did I say that out loud?
------------------

How about "This is the America Hollywood warned you about."
I like the idea of the BIGGERBETTERFASTERLOUDER Americanisms being part of reality; serial killers on every doorstep, a handgun in every pot. Elephants.
I'm trying to play off that idea, and it's not working just yet...
Hee.....elephants...
------------------

I like BJ's. And it really does feed into your premise.
