Me: Well, I've been paying the charges that have shown up on my phone bill, and they've been correct as far as I can tell.
V: Let me double check the account. This is for service at 681-1965, right?
Me: No, that number was changed a long time ago.<P>
Sigh... the PHONE company doesn't even know what my phone number is.
