Familiars think?

I have been wondering. Do the animal familiars think logically in order for the mages to read thier thoughts? I mean Raamah can read Barak thoughts but Barak is a werewolf.

A good question. :3

Usually when people bond a familiar, the animal in turn inherets certain traits- sentience and a longer life span/slower aging rate among them. :3

So, yes, most familiars tend to be intelligent, but its something new to them. It often takes them some time to adjust

However, werewolves already are intelligent, and actualy have the longer life span then humans.
