My fellow fanboys and fangirls, Marian claimed that the goodbye kiss as Alucard was "The Fangirls' last hurrah". But my fellow fans, shall we just go gentile into that last totally awesome sunrise kiss? Or shall we scream our EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEs into the face of having to find something else to do with our time and go down squeeing? Let it not be said that this storyline found our fandom wanting, but let those who remembers this occasion look back and say "Man did those people really need to get a life!"

This thread is here to serve as a celebration of all that is being a fanboy and fangirl. Are there any instances of fanism is other works that you thought were awesome or funny? Link or discuss them. Have you ever made any fanart or written fanfic. Go ahead and link it, no matter how bad it is. The worst that could happen is that we all shun you. SHUUUUUUUUUN.
Just to start of with a couple of links to other works with fanboys, the first is to a webcomic page for Persona 4TW, which itself is a fancomic based on the game Persona 4. *Here* the silent main character shows you don't have to squee to be obvious and potentially obnoxious in your fandom. *The second* is the introduction to the minor character Fanboy, from Freakazoid. I think it's kinda funny the reactions Fanboy gets to his presence in this show. I kinda wonder how the characters would react to Shine style fangirls... Probably with lots of use of the "Scream-o-vision" gag that was used in the episode that introduced that one boogyman who shall not be named (I ain't that dumb).
Anyway, as for my own stuff, there's... not much. And I can't really claim any of it is Shine or Hellsing related. Though I suppose you could theoretically count a couple of the threads here and the one guest comic. Oh well, anyway, the one piece of fanfic I've written was for the Valdemar series written by Mercedes Lackey, and even then I didn't use any of her characters, just the setting. But if you're interested it's called "Collegium Days: The Gift". As for fanart, well... to be frank I have next to no artistic talent. We're talking sloppy with stick-figures here. My image editing skills aren't really much better, and I don't know how to use anything more complex than MSPaint. Still, I've done quite a few strip slays (you can familiarize yourself with the concept at TV Tropes *here*) based on El Goonish Shive. My gallery of them can be found on it's forum *here*. I know several others have uploaded their's to deviantArt, but I never really felt comfortable doing that. It's not really my art, ya know?
Anyway, what are some of the displays of fandom you've enjoyed, or what fan works have you produced?
