southern vampire mysteries

Post by Mrrout »

what do you think of those books, and the TV show "true blood"?
what are you favorite pairings?

i like the books and show; those vampire are nothing like Alucard, but they have enough good test to NOT sparkle, and the sexual tension between eric/sookie and sookie/bill is well played by the different actors

Eh... it's not relevant to my interests. I'm not the kind to enjoy TV drama; I'm more fond of explosions and comedy.

Greetings,

Sorry to bring this up if people have moved on, but am looking over the older threads and posting on those that I find interesting.

Found the first few books interesting, but after a point it became too....unrealistic. Which is kind of bad when you remember it is supernatural. Enjoyed the first season but it had too much sex, even for HBO. Fine - the brother likes sex - we get it.

Did find the TV ads in the bonus material on the DVDs very funny. Products and services marketed for vampires. Wonderful! Not a new idea but still very well done.

Funny, there really are no mysteries and the vampires are kind of being pushed out by the weres, etc.
