Prolific Links of Music and Religions

Postby Frey on Sat Dec 05, 2009 10:54 am

This here is a playlist of mine in which I added youtube videos to it. Spiritual religious music of Bahá'i, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto Shikhism, Wiccan, and others. Ecspecially check out ones by Tammuz:

The first link describes the Zoroastrian influence on Christianity and Jeudaism. The second on the duality of Zoroastrianism. The third consists of other Zoroastrian information and links.

Here are links for Manichaeism: Regarding Mani and "Seal of the Prophets," see the second link for the clear explaination of it being metaphorical.

Got any good videos of the Call to Prayer? Seems like a part of me's been missing since I returned from the UAE and wasn't greeted by it in the morning.

EDIT: Great playlist! I'm gonna see if I can subscribe to it, not sure if you can do that with playlists.
Haven't heard the good old Gregorian chants in a while, they're simply amazing. I like how you have the band Gregorian in there as well, I have some of their stuff.
Jetzt auf! In Bergen und Klüften
Tobt morgen der freudige Krieg!

Das Wild in Fluren und Triften,
Der Aar in Wolken und Lüften
Ist unser, und unser der Sieg!
