It's an inherited code name - in Pepito's honor, yes, but odds are good Pepito himself never held the position. (As the son of the former Spanish ambassador, he isn't a likely choice to work in a secret French military organization.)

Also, vampires don't turn you with one bite (although werewolves do)...and that's no redshirt aiming the gun.

Despite all the Hellsing footage to the contrary, I still favor the vampire must give some blood to turn someone. I don't mind the virgin to be a true vamp versus not gives you a ghoul, but draining a body gives you a vampire has never made sense.

Other end of the shotgun, holy bleep indeed. Anderson's decapitation trick didn't work and Abraham Helsing used a stake too and that didn't work, though that may have been from Abe's experiments there. (I'm pretty sure they flashed back to Abraham staking Vlad. But yeah an excuse to go watch that OVA episode again. ) This will not end well, but it's going to be entertaining as hell.
