No, not really. Having read the accounts of the Unit 731 experiments and those of Mengele, Unit 731 wins the "holy crap that's depraved" award for having a higher number of victims and a greater variety of live human experiments.

Enrico's just jealous that Capitalism is a religion that a) makes the average man better off, b) facilitates science, and c) can prove the existence of its "invisible hand" with numbers.

New comic up, and it looks like he's having a psychotic break. This must have really shaken his faith in his higher ups.

... I just had this weird idea that Enrico is a yandere for his bosses. Granted I'm on a yandere kick, but dude...
Finally, I remember to do a signature! Oh the wonder! Oh the happiness! ... I don't even have a snappy remark to make.

D: I am in DESPAIR! The lack of a snappy remark for my signature has left me in despair!

Ooh I got it!

I'm not surprised that the Vatican was helping Millenium. I AM surprised that I'm not surprised by this, though.

More like the Anti-Christ, depending on the economic system you subscribe to.

Enrico's clearly not happy that the Vatican had a hand in helping those who create vampires. Pius XII is *really* lucky he's not alive under Enrico's watch, or he might have ended up in an Iscariot "interrogation."

Wow, Maxwell is looking more then a little crazed there. Of course, I'd be more then a bit mad too if I found out my church helped a group of Nazi vampires.

Anyway, sorry for bringing up a negative here, but having Maxwell's Slasher Smile disconnected from the lip indentation in the outline of his face looks a bit weird.

Hmm. Some genuine remorse and shame from Maxwell? Well, there we go. Looks like he went through a small mindbreak right there.

And I agree with Xuanwu. Enrico's just jealous.

I love the slasher smile. ;) I'm sure Alucard wore a similar one once...

pff oh come on capitalism sucks

Explain away the countless economic recessions then?

Anyway, I just didn't want to court controversy by saying that 731 was definitely worse than Mengele, because I didn't know for sure, and you know how people are always like 'oh nazis are the worst' well anyway at least I know now.

Socialist policies and human stupidity. Seriously, they've looked it up, capitalism as a concept has had noting to do with it. Hell, capitalist countries are the ones who have taken the least damage from this, and are the only one's who show signs of coming out of this ahead.

Anyway, I think that Enrico would be a Nazi sympathizer if not for the whole vampire thing.

Either that, or it's his 'I going to lead the lastest crusade' smile. Whatever you pick, you can guarantee it'll be bad news for whoever's on the business end!

I think it would be best for everyone if there wasn't a discussion over whether or not socialism, capitalism, or communism is the better system. This too easily turns into a flame war, and Erin doesn't deserve that. Can we all agree to disagree?

I can't figure out what scares me more... Enrico's insane-face in this comic or his evil-Lucius-Malfoy snake face from St. Patrick's Day.

And I knew this was gonna involve the Nazis' assistance from the Vatican. Woot.

But I'm still a little confused... so Daddy Warbucks started the Nagasaki group and then they were destroyed via careful planning? I just wanna get the story straight.

Someone Japanese started the Nagasaki group. Daddy Warbucks then had it bombed flat.

Probably wise. If the economic advisors to the most powerful nations in the world haven't worked this one out, I doubt we're going to solve it on a webcomic forum ^_~

All I got out of it was I get to call someone the numbers!pope, so I'm cool with it.

What would be better is if Maxwell could persuade Yumiko to wake Yumie up - so that she could first slice the guy's - er - jewels off before loping off his head.

:o

OMG - I'm beginning to think like that snake! :ick:

Population decline?

No, wait, wait, depending on the society a few well placed murders might decrease inhibitions or safe sex practices and thus lead to an upward trend in population growth.
