hirano, james Bond, and Hellsing

Post by Mrrout »

yesterday i watched a james Bond film, whose french title is "dangereusement votre", with roger moore and grace jones.
the bad guy's name is ZORIN
he travels in a ZEPPELIN
he is the result of genetic experiences made by a german MAD SCIENTIST
the girl played by grace jones has a lot common sides with ZORIN BLITZ
she uses a weapon made of WIRES
the mad scientist has a MONOCLE.....

the film was made in the eighties, and for me it can't be coincidences.
i think that Hirano took some ideas in it.
did you see that film and saw the look-alikes?

It's called A View to a Kill here. Zorin's one of my favourite Bond villains. He DOES remind me of Major, now you think about it...

Must see this film again. :P

Ah, Christopher Walken before he got old and creepy. Back then he was just creepy.

A view to a kill is the worst James Bond film ever. That's pretty much all I have to say on the matter.
Warren Ellis: I figure that the more of you there are around me, the more chance there is of the inevitable hail of bullets hitting you instead of me.

Dr. Kelso: In order to save us some time, I shall be calling all the males "Daves" and all the females "Debbies".
Debbie: Debbie is actually my name!
Dr. Kelso: Then in fairness to the others, you will be "Slagathor".

What? Not even close. That honor is a toss up between "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (Lazenby Bond...blargh) and "The World is Not Enough." "View to a Kill" wasn't great ("Moonraker" and "The Spy Who Loved Me" were better Moore Bond movies), but it wasn't unwatchably horrible like OHMSS and TWINE were.
