I'm not too sure if it would be a good crossover idea yet as I'm still in the middle of the first book, but I think Inkheart has good possibilities, if not with Hellsing then it would make for a great crossover with ROD.

Basically thus far the premise as I understand it is there's a man named Mortimer, also called Silvertounge by the villains or simply Mo by his daughter Meggie, who discovered that when he reads out aloud from books he'll occasionally draw things out of the books and into the real world while at the same time taking the same number of things in the real world and placing them into the book. He doesn't really have any control over what and when however, and tragedy strikes when one day he finds out he can do it with living things as well when he accidentally drew a villain into the world while reading to his wife and daughter, and his wife ended up stuck in the book. Nine years later the book starts with Maggie getting introduced to all this when Mo is taken prisoner by the villain he read into existence along with the book he came from.

Crossover possibilities are definitely there with ROD, come on, he's a bibliophile with book related powers, but Hellsing might also be doable, by say, having somebody force him to read Dracula. It wouldn't even necessarily have to be him that does it, as others with the ability exist (they just aren't as good). While like all crossovers require a bit of effort to make work, the opportunity to have Hellsing's Alucard fight against Dracula's Dracula is just too sweet to be adequately described in words.

It couldn't be a crossover with Death Note, per se, cause Hellsing takes place before it, but I'd love to see characters from it thrown in the mix. Such as L investigates some crime in England, and Hellsing gets involved cause there's vampires, or hell, there's a followup to the Cursed Storyline that throws one or more of the task force in because they're investigating.

PS: Walter totally knows Watari.

I will throw into the ring Braindead (released in the US as Dead Alive) because the only way I can justify this much awesome is Father McGrueder is in the New Zealand equivalent of Hellsing. Or possibly Iscariot, I can't tell the difference between Anglican and Catholic services, and both are present there.

If you could alter the time period of Little Shop Of Horrors (the musical, not the original movie) it could tie into Hellsing. Audrey II takes over the east coast of the U.S., the government there is unable to contain it and call in Hellsing's help to contian the evil, vampiric plants...and there could be singing...

It's never going to happen unless I feel like writing crackfic, of course. But it would be sweet.

Plant: (singing Feed Me to Integral)

Seras:...Sir Integral?

Intgral: Yes, Officer Victoria? (short-tempered because the plant never shuts up)

Seras: I think the plant is hitting on you.

I've suggested it once, and I'll suggest it again. Buffyverse. The chronologies match up reasonably well. Probably one of the better ways to do it might be during the current Buffy season 8 storyline, There's about 4 years worth of undefined chronology in the buffyverse between seasons 7 and 8. Now while using the standard Buffy chronology seasons 7 and 8 are a few years after the invasion of London. But since Buffy was pretty well contained within Sunnydale you could probably shift it around a few years to fit. Later in the series would probably be better, more fun to be had with the various characters that showed up later in the show (Spike, Dawn, Faith, Wilkins, maybe Wolfram and Heart....the Senior Partners decide to back an attempted take down of Helsing?) Could you just imagine Xander's reaction to Integra? Especially in season 8 given that he's basically the co commander of the slayer army? Or Giles and Walter? Then there's all the fun you could have if you have Spike, Angel, and Alucard at the same place. Especially because of the fun that always ensues when Spike and Angel actually are united against a common foe, even if they're just really annoyed by that common foe. Imagine Pip's reaction to Buffy, probable overload.

How about "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". I know there seams to be a mishmash chronologically but since it's packed stem to stern with literary figures why not add HG. wells and his time machine? Or perhaps the sun of "The Time Traveler". Who apparently wasn’t named in the book. He could have traveled to this time with his companions to investigate the temporal distortions of his I-Jin knockoff. Or just random happenstance. Can you imagine Mina meeting Integra? :P Or better yet have the lot of them meet there pseudo-replacements.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Blackadder yet. It'd be great: Poor broke cousin Edmund comes visiting with his unhygenic valet Baldrick to hit up Integra for cash. And hit on Victoria, of course. And raid the winecellars or at least search for them. It'd be better than the Scooby-Doo gang. There's also a time-travel story for the series, but I haven't gotten there yet.

Edit: Scratch that. Blackadder would fit in much better with Arthur Hellsing. Perhaps something involving Girlycard collecting a gambling debt (and getting hit on)? And Jeeves interacting with Baldrick would just be great. Something that gave poor young Walter nightmares for sixty years.

I feel a bit sheepish and pushy about bringing this up again, but reading just a little bit about what exactly the Ripley Scroll is has really made me want to see a crossover between Hellsing and the Elemental Masters series. Not that there's any mention of the scroll or the philosopher's stone as far as I can remember in the series, but the whole "elemental magic in England in the early 1900's/late 1800's" thing is making me imagine the Exter Club as possibly having some part in Alucard's past.

Yeah, that what I was thinking! Since with all the hoopla about the upcoming Hellboy movie, it seems to be a natural!

(although I still prefer either Tenchi or Haruhi Suzumiya)

Thje movie actually looks kinda good. It's directed by the same guy who did Pan's Labrynth.

Yeah the movie was awesome.Id love to see a crossover :D !

Am I the only person here who think Blackadder would be a very funny crossover with Shine? Or (God forbid) the only person who's heard of Blackadder?
