I ran over the Dynasty Warrior 6
character designs the other day. Sima Yi apparently now uses a weapon similar to Walter's wires. Can someone say pointlessly stupid time travel crossover? And Gan Ning looks like FFX-2 Rikku on steroids. I have no idea what the art team at Koei was drinking/smoking when they came up with these.
Pip with cat ears...that's a scary thought. I would've pegged him as a monkey. Or maybe a bonobo.

I had the exact same thought when I read the comic. Glad I wasn't the only one whose mind went in that direction.
Edit:
For those who wonder where the line comes from, see this:

As soon as he can figure out how to order them off EBay?

It's nice to see that even in times of spilled rice, you can count on Pip to keep thinking things through with at least one of his heads.

Pip, your gutter mind is one of the reasons why we adore you.

That and your awesome hair. Also, you're one of the few cool French people. It's basically you and Louis Pasteur.

Another scene that just came to mind: Urusei Yatsura with Ten-chan and Ataru. Because Ten was a cute little kid, all the girls would cling him to their chests. But when Ataru tried it, he'd get slapped silly. Similar principle seems to apply here: cuteness gets you access to boobs.

Wouldn't what? Shoot Bambi's mom? Chase after the most dangerous prey of all, man? Go after that perfect deal for a new hat? Find a super, ultra rare collector's card? Score a couple of hot dates? Engage in some father/daughter bonding time in the wilderness? Ride through the countryside after a fox? Curse that annoying laughing dog?
Catch a not-so-nice vampire and drag it back to the mansion so Integra can perform her experiments?

Oh yeah, good point. OK, Pip, Louis Pasteur and Madeline. The rule of 3 has been obeyed.

Maybe the "Piyo Piyo" apron from Maison Ikkoku?

Oi...what about Joan of Arc and Cardinal Richelieu? And probably Athos since you're including fictional people. And Oscar from Rose of Versailles.

Which one was Richelieu? Wasn't he something to do with the revolution?
Also, rule of 3 defeats your history skillz.

Hmm... you know, it might be kind of interesting to see the reaction if somebody were to post this strip and the previous one of Colbert interviewing the contestants on the Colbert Nation messageboard. Might be good for boosting readership (at least temporarily). Does anybody here have an account there?
Actually, I would also love to know what Stephen himself would have to say about this. Well, realistically probably nothing even if he did become aware of it, but it would be really cool if he mentioned Erin copying him in advance. Although there is the danger of winding up On Notice to be considered.
